On topic though, I think the idea is fun, I sometimes tried to play 1st person,  but even though it was fun for a while, I could never bear to play like that for more like few minutes.

Make it an option for server admins? If people want to they can make their game 1st person only, 3rd person only or 1st and 3rd enabled. Would open up a lot of event possibilities.
