Decency is respecting someone's real life responsibilities and not taking the free win like a bitch, it's a challenge to duel, not a challenge to not duel. Free wins aren't worth shit. I know that nobody was eager to take a free win in any cRPG tournament setting that I have seen, with both parties usually doing their best to get the match done some other time.

Bottom line is they had a predetermined date to duel. One party involved didn't show up. On top of that, was so arrogant that they didn't even have the gold to make good on the challenge. To add insult to injury, didn't try to reschedule just gave no fucks that they didn't show up in the first place after calling the other person out both in game and on the forums. As for "taking the free win", in the real world, like everything, there are consequences to your actions. This was a duel scheduled far in advance for imaginery internet gold. Varadin wasted Ras's time who could've been doing something better on a Sunday than waiting for him not to show up. But alas, he did, and you expect him to get nothing for wasting a couple hours waiting for a no show? Time is money son. Let's say he agrees to fight him without getting paid for the initial waste of time and then Varadin doesn't show up again? There is no accountability for doing this. It's not like he couldn't have told a friend or popped on here and been like, shit man sorry, let's do this tomorrow i have to take my boss somewhere. No he waited until after that and you all expect Ras to wait again for potentially the same scenario and some how this makes Ras a greedy whore? Are you shitting me right now you fucks? He's just trying to get Varadin to take responsibility for his actions and prove that it was an honest mistake and that he isn't a shitlord time waster. Why can't you fucking see that?

Even his poll at the top of the fucking page has him as "Ras the mad cus bad" and he doesn't even show up or tell him he can't make it. Go on tell me more why exactly you're sticking up for him?

Varadin appologizes for not showing up and shows his regrett about Raz's wasted time by paying 1m gold.

to give both the possibility to leave this story without stains on their honour they can arrange an other date for their 2m gold duell.

What are you talking about? I have no idea about markets but I presume 2 million is like 3 MW's and I am sure Varadin is good for that. I know that if I would do such a duel I wouldn't transfer my looms into gold beforehand unless specified. You know, you might want to actually use them for the duel. Unless you are a patient market shark, which only the biggest scrubs are, trading shit is a lot of effort and loses you lots of money. Why do it beforehand and then having to re-trade afterwards for nothing if you win, potentially making you lose out on like 500k over the process. Besides, he could probably knock on the door of the Iron Bank of Poland and get a check.

The thing that is bullshit about this is that they had a fixed time, and Varadin did not meet it. If i did this in the duel vs Xesta, then everyone in this entire fucking hypocritical community would have done everything to force me to pay Xesta and accept my defeat. This fucking community....

Being an arse doesn't mean he should pay 2 million because he isn't autistic enough to set aside everything for an e-peen duel. Oh well, I'm done with this thread. Teeth and jtobiasm it was Varadin's idea in the first place and they agreed upon a specific time/day to do it. I don't know why you can't understand that but I'm sick of saying the same motherfucking thing, all the motherfucking time. He chickened out last minute and it took someone (donnicko i think) to actually get him to reschedule. If you ask me, that just wreaks of pussy.
