Have you tried Call of Warhammer for MTWII? Played Reikland and Khorne campaigns recently, was quite impressed.

It's basically gonna be what Napoleon Total War was to Empire Total War. No huge differences.

Well, NTW is basically the best TW game yet mechanics wise.. so yea..
Monkeys!

We would be fortunate to have another TW game of NTW quality.

I was just so used to playing 'real' 40k battles with a points limit, army list, and battlefield... Felt wrong with the whole resource collecting, population caps etc.

Mechanics wise maybe. But campaign and overall feeling? Lol, Rome 1, MTW 2 and ETW were way better. All depends on what your cup of tea is.

NTW campaign is in my opinion the best campaign since RTW:BI and MTWI:VI, and not because I like some setting more than another, but because CA games are generally great when they have time for polish, and the improved focus usually found in their expansions.

NTW also had the best balance by far.
