Shinsekai Yori - done

Not bad, wanted it to be better. Had really high expectations for some reason. Figured out the story after like first four episodes but had to wait 25th to end so they finally confirm it. Main characters are very bland imho. Supporting characters are a lot better, especially molerat called Xant.

Yeah I actually really enjoyed one-man punch. But reason why I think its so good is because its the opposite to most anime, the whole thing is almost just an elaborate parody taking the piss out of how stupid anime is. So i'm basically surprised that it is high ranked on my anime list or as popular as it is among anime fans.

I'm watching full metal alch at the moment, its actually not bad if I ignore how little sense any of it makes. Some of the sense of humour isn't even that bad, and typically always thought anime humour was atrocious and japanese people must just have a bad sense of humour. But have you guys seen Plastic Nee-san? this one is pretty funny:

Like TV shows and movies, anime series can have different target demographics. One Punch Man is seinen which is a loosely defined genre/target demographic combination meant mainly for young adult males and up. Another genre is shounen anime, which is the action packed Naruto etc fight anime targeted at boys where the most adult theme is violence and maybe bouncing boobs here and there. This is the genre that One Punch Man is making fun of the most.

Also I just got around to watching One Punch Man as well, that shit was great.

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress), basically a steam punk themed Shingeki no Kyojin. Only one episode out at the moment but looks VERY promising. Actually the first ep is the most hype first ep I have ever seen.

Agreed.

Very good series in just the first episode. Steam punk is such a fun genre, surprised Japan uses it so rarely. It meshes very well with their culture/style.
