Look at the fucking animations Zlisch you dumb fuck, look how much does the polearm nudge extends, and then look how far the 1h and the overhead nudge extends.

Buffed non-loomed archery and only make looms increase arrow count, draw speed, accuracy and missile speed. Didn't notice first time I read through the changes. Awesome job, balancers! Finally, you don't desperately need looms to do well as ranged player. :D

Any way to help guys who spent 3 gens for a bow ?

A Yumi only exists for Horse Archers anyway. You cannot use a regular Bow on horseback so that is alright after all. Only 5 bows can be used on horseback now and they all have less dmg than the other bows for obvious reasons. Short Bow, Nomad Bow, Tatar Bow, Horn Bow and Yumi.

Algarn, no one forced you to loom a bow before. Patches can easily change stats of any item and it shouldn't be a problem that you loomed it before. You still got an advantage to people who didn't loom the bow. However the advantage is rather "low" to before. But that's some fine changes as people who do not have fully loomed stuff got buffed a bit.

But for real, if you play 3 gens for a bow you are a dumb fuck...
If you play 3 gens for fun and end up with a +3 bow thats still better then a +0 bow... Slightly disappointing but nothing to worry about i'd say, the archer class doesn't change with that, the difference with unloomed archers is just much smaller now, you will have to rely on your skills.

It still gives an advantage, not just as silly huge as before..
I voted Gurnisson cause of his fucking bendy pike, I swear noone can roflcopter stab like he can.

ok let's talk about the archer problem please:

- power draw always gave 14% more damage, while power throw gives 10 and power strike 8, why?
- archers, having arrows and bows' damage buffed, do now around +5 damage, why?
- archers still have that nonsense stun, and now that all those QQarchers are back it's impossible to play on eu 1, why?

i think these lovely guys were used to a level of OPness that went further ridiculousness, and nerfing them had good reasons.
i just would like to let you know that now only good archers had good scoreboards, bagge robinhood people like them, which is a good thing. why should every archer have the possibility to be topscorer? you have to deserve it, as it is for every other class; even top scoring as HX implies being good at it.

Nonloomed ranged / loomed ranged balance was a long coming tbh. Finally ranged with no looms can do something other than throw biscuits at people

HX got buffed? What.

Btw that Tatar Bow. It was really rarely used by archers. If going with a 1slot bow, the obvious choice has always been the Horn Bow. 2 slot bow people usually went with Rus or Long Bow. I like the idea of having different bows on the battlefield.

And just because the bow gets lower PD requirements doesnt mean it gets buffed in any way. Dedicated archers still get at least 5 Power Draw to deal some damage.  It was actually about time that the Tatar Bow got some buffs.

  • 1h went from being slight buffed to the fucking misery it was before.
  • 2h adds nudge to the abooze list. Now they can break havoc using the combination of lolstab and nudge.
  • More ammo to archers, more kiting, less fun for melee players.
  • No new armors added to the patch

not really sure what it means. To me it sounds like 0 HA skill HX are equal to the pre-patch HX, and they get even more accurate with the HA skill.

Or it the 0 HA skilled HX worse then the pre-patch one? And at what level of HA would it even out?

Dafuq you talking about? Didn't get worse... You say archery got easier, that always brings a buff to shielders since they will survive much better then 2h-pole vs ranged...
