I've ran Slark offlane lately. Works well unless the enemy trilane completely zones you out. As long as you are able to leech xp and get fast lvl 6, you can just leave and go farm enemy heroes.

Slark is fun although ive only won 1 of my 3 games i blame enemy team in one group with heavy silence and my team running away

played axe for the first time couple days ago. single draft then all random forced me into it. Axe is a pretty funny hero to play. I see Vanguard is a popular choice but i went Tranquil-Blink-Halberd-Bkb which was fun. Just jumping in and popping berserker's call just as a team mate is about to die makes the enemy rage so hard

This game I went jungle and got killed by their Ember mid 3 times because our mid was unable to get any runes and so forth. But after they over extended and I picked up a killstreak bounty I managed to get a blink and it went downhill for the enemy team from there, ended with the enemy team getting really desperate and the last fight we won just because their Void hit me like 5 times with my blademail up. Everyone went for base, I stayed back and managed to trap Ember who bought back just to remnant into my berserkers call.

His dunk slam ult is also really fun.

Only reason I picked up  the kill on Ember was in a teamfight which gave me the money to get a blink, pretty much the kill that changed the game in our favor.

So i picked Windrunner support, another picks Timbersaw. So far so good then comes Drow, anti mage and void. So game is gonna be hard vs Doom, Huskar, BH, CM and Bloodseeker.

Me and Timber go offlane because well people scream if you dont go 2-1-2 at this very low level. Void goes mid for some reason and wont listen to anyone else. Huskar pwns his ass 3-4 times so he cries and changes with drow so now we have void and anti mage bottom. Me and Timber raped the top killing them 4-5 times quickly so i leave to help bottom.

Game is pretty much over after 10 mins

Drow dies literally every 2 mins and i do my best to stop void and anti mage dying using shackle and my life but alas everyone feeds hard except me and timber. Most of my 11 deaths came at the end defending the base while void tends to only use ulti once the team fight is lost so it does nothing

Long QQ short it turns out void drow and anti had 1100 MMR while the other team was mostly TBD . I just cant help people who hear Roshan has been killed and then charge strait to the pit alone or as a 2 when the team is nowhere near.... Hell im in noob tier for a reason but damn

Playing supports in your MMR is not gonna cut it. If you're better just pick a hero with good game impact, do go with last hits and carry your shit team

yeah but i do love windranger I find lich is op at this level so i might go with him and a few semi carries.

Did have some fun tho. warded our jungle then stood near our tower with low hp. see BS charging a mile away so as he gets to the trees insta shackle, Ulti his ass then get called names for it ^^

Like Vibe said I'm liking going solo offlane (although my teammates seemed confused at first about that concept). I "wrecked" Chaos Knight in the laning phase as soon as I hit level 6 and even managed to sneak into their jungle and kill Enigma but it kind of just went downhill after that. Medusa literally afk farmed ancients for a half-hour and was level 11 while we were all ~14 trying to team-fight (I had snowballed a bit and was 17). Zeus picked up a refresher and basically critically wounded me at the start of every teamfight and Earthshakers fissure managed to stun me a few times while I was in mid-air.

The only thing that saved us that game was Rubick stealing black-hole twice, my mopping up some kills and space creating (feeding from diving super deep), and Medusa managing to come online ~45 minutes into the game while we held off. Also, their Wraith King rage quit about halfway through.


What sort of item build do you think Slark should go with? I was going poor man's shield, to boots, to basher but I was considering going with yasha and then SnY or Manta for silences and extra dps on leashing. I went yasha to bkb my last game because I kept getting caught out and mass stunned/lightning bolted/chaos knighted.

Also, what do you think of afk, ancient farming Medusa? 
The guy swore by it but it seemed iffy when he was behind in levels and items until he finally joined teamfights and farming lanes. Either way I'm off to watch the replay right now.

You can see slarks with all kinda stuff, diffusals, Skadi, mask of madness, S&Y I think it depends on what u fight really.
