There's this story that this guy Thovex played Furion bought 2 rapiers and tped in middle of enemy base then fed them to superfarmed Shadow Fiend.

We won because I bought more rapiers and backdoored their poor victory attempt

I remember this game. That move made it more entertaining, it was aaall under control..

Talking of Rapiers... I remember when Thovex carried with Venomancer and won the late game with a rapier.

Interesting.

I've noticed you can't see some people's wins, and dota 2 profile levels.

Have I missed something, what's the reasoning behind it?

You can't see people's wins/levels anymore unless they share match history (in the settings). Reasoning: so players have less valid arguments for complaining about shitty matchmaking, gf valve

Who cares about other people's wins?

Who cares about other people's wins?

It is very relevant when comparing your teammates who have <20 wins to people with 500+ wins. The gap between <20 wins and 500 wins is absolutely huge, no matter how sucky the 500 wins guys are. And wins/levels/timeplayed is the only thing we have to somewhat predict how experienced one player is, since they keep matchmaking rating secret.

Haha, comparing wins at match start, some of my friends do it all the time: "oh noes the opponent has 200 more wins, it's gg".
I hope most people decide to hide it.

although i dont use it as a standard, arguably rationallity dous kick in if i get queued with somone who has 600 wins less than me, theres always the chance that its a second account or a person that has very good knowledge of the game. still most of those games they were kind of clueless.

I thought this aswell untill now recently, my team had 500+ wins and 3 man stack, oh this will probably be an easy game!

Ends up with them being totally shit (and russian so no communication D:).
