Nobody knows exactly how except valve, but both wins / loss and your personal performance seem to affect it  Also if you que with friends, that will affect what bracket you end in.

Every time I do matchmaking with my friend (level 3) I always end up with a noob team. Last game I had Drow was level 16 and didn't have silence.

Recently my enemies seem to have become worse, for whatever reason.. dont really like it, usually feels like we roflstop shit too easy.

And for the matchmaking, from what ive seen it seems to count total wins so each team has about the same combined number of total wins. Probably not that simple though. Never been matched up with a guy that has 300+ wins though, compared to my ~130. Only range from 70 wins to 150..

I'm about to go insane because of the incompetence of the teams I get always.

They made me lose a shitton of matches alone where it wasn't my fault, and a good part where it was my fault too because of the frustration.
Out of the 5 games I played, in 4 I had to buy Both couriers. As Night stalker or some other non support character.

Was called a "killhungry bitch that doesn't care about team" by a guy when they fed others up, and I tried to even it out by picking people off.
He had more wins than me that's the fun part.

I can't keep a positive win/loss ratio up because of morons.

Is there a way to get out of this shithole?
No matter how hard I try, how well I perform, it's always a loss.

I find it's a game where you go through long periods of losing/win streaks and can get pretty frustrating. I tend to play with at least 2 friends, often 4 and sometimes even an entire team and it helps because then at least you can blame each other. Though I think I'm the only one out of us that has more wins than losses.

Pubby matches though are usually a mess. Nothing you can do about feeders, people running off doing stupid things ect. But you should break your losing streak I'm sure. Maybe try playing a character you know you could carry the team with? For me if I'm in a losing streak I switch to sniper because I know I have a good chance of hiking up the kills with him, even with only a semi-competent team.

As Overdriven said, try picking a hero you know your good with, usually helps me get out of the lose streak. When I pick Clockwerk I almost never looses

Being good at this game and pub stomping require different skills in this game.

Get good with pudge and pick it always. I said it 7-8 pages ago that pudge is the 2hander of dota. No matter how bad your team is, you can dominate the game before your allies start feeding. You'll get 4-5k in late game against a dozen of feeders.

Yes, yes. There are plenty of Junglers in the game.

There's probably one that fits your style of play.

Ones that I played are Axe (horribly played though), Lifestealer, and Lycanthrope. I like that guy, but I don't really enjoy jungling.

Unrelated, but thank you Bjord for breaking my losing streak (it was abandoned by some cunt but it's still something), and you enjoyed the derpfest that I am facing all the time for a bit.  Good playing with you, but you really had a 2h hero mentality in there.

There are probably 10 or so junglers so there is a nice choice. All of them are quite different as well.

I'd recommend lifestealer. He has a skill which prevents all magic damage from damaging him, so if he's high level in a fight he can soak up a bunch of enemy skills and deal out high damage whilst regening health. Not so good against pure damage characters though. Either that or Ursa. Rush Ursa to level 6, combine with the item Vladmir's offering and then enjoy killing Roshan for a healthy XP boost  If you play with Ursa and lich you can take on Roshan at level 1 

Axe is an ok jungler though I prefer playing him in lanes as early game he can be very frustrating.
