i wasnt playing yet when TI3 was going on but ive seen most of the youtube videos. The final was exciting and you didnt know who was going to win that last match and the tension was high untill the S4 coil. first game had little to no tension or excitement really. I hope it picks up

There was little tension in the first games though, throw after throw from both sides untill the final round maximum ass clench base race.

Do you guys remember last year? Ogre magi was picked, Night Stalker was picked etc and I was so happy when that happened and kicked major ass.

Fuck these drafts indeed, play something new. Its not like thats the only viable draft. I want to see something like a huskarr, being buffed and all i believe he can mess shit up.

Maybe most of the towers were still up, but they were just too much behind. They also gave it away when you look at their picks, honestly. Started on the backfoot, loose firstblood, loose first teamfight 3 to 1, push towers against 2 blink initiators, get rekted.

It's nice and all to fight back, and try your hardest, but it would have been too painful to watch. At least, that was some "fast" chinese doto, and not some farming game.
GG to newbee, who were really strong there. No errors wins you matches.

Well I have only watched TI3 but this has to be waaay worse for me than the previous one.

Same drafts all the freaking main event, god awful spectator camera work (must watch stream cause my PC is toast)

Format was god awful, grand final was the same robotic borefest, no attachment or excitement happened to the entire grand finals thing.

All in all it was.. disappointing really.

Hope Icefrog saves us and nerfs or rebalances this meta because it's piss poor to watch really.

Well, i dont really feel the meta needs nerfing. Meta is made by the players, there are choices but this is just what happens to be the thing atm. They can ofcourse nerf stuff but killing a hero off just to stop a meta is kinda sad.
