Hey.

Thanks for a great Tournament and to the people who participated. I had a lot of fun duels hope you had as well.

Results can be seen here: http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,1257.0.html

Congratulations to all the winners...

I would like to use this thread for summarizing what we have learned, so new organizers can improve their tournaments.

5 rounds against each opponent instead of 3 seems far more fair.
I would have prefered a swiss type tournament with each playing 4 matches instead of elimination. This would have added ranking.

What is left is still the "warband" part of the original inteded tournament, however fallen have created the other tournament, and maybe it works fine?
I'd also be willing to organize a league of sorts, but the gladitorial league I suggested didn't seem to carry much interest.

What do you think?
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened his mouth.

Make podiums. Being second has no value when the winner get's bolded and underlined and stuff, while you barely get shown.

 :D

it would be a nice feature, but there will be better suggestions of course ;)
