its a pity, but i think lets leave it like its now, it will still be official tournament but with smaller numbers (i will fine tune some rules that will show stupid for the next bigger tourney). once odin hacks server there can be 20 clans on the same map, no problem...

only turks revealed their interest in participating in the tourney since the last (8th clan registered) - thanks a lot to them for revealing their interest in the tournament, i appreciate that!
but i'm not going to force it so much so i decided to close the registrations permanently when we had only 1 additional clan registered.
8 clans already registered - we've got 2 groups, if 1 or more clan doesn't come, we will have 1 big 7 members group instead.

the 1st tourney will therefore be limited to 8 clans max, for the next tourney server will be hacked for 200+ players and rules will be polished according to saturday event. still this is considered an official tournament - meaning results will go into the ladder syste i'm preparing, but it will on the other hand be half serious and half for the testing with limited ammount of people.

The reason why we are not signing up, is that we will never be able to attend on saturdays. Had in been almost any other day except friday, we might have participated.

Yeah, Saturdays are kinda awkward... Normally RL-time to go out and get buzzed or have some fun (both?), not sit in front of my PC and play some game. Fridays and Saturdays are not the best choice for those things, everything else would be mostly okay.

ok, you can use any armor if it is heraldic (so those prefering medium lighter tiers aren't so limited). i will think if its good to allow various not heraldic armors or not, for now lets say various not heraldic armor is not allowed.

the only exception is archer of course - but he should have similar armor to your heraldry, so for example red tunic over mail if your banner is red etc...

Sounds like you want too nerf Archers even more for your tournament

i'm against it. everybody is fighting in the same stuff so you should also do the same. i don't think it would be sucha  big problem as with white armor you'd still be fiting well to the style of other mercs, but if there are some rules, they should be the same for everybody.

well we might still change them, but only if there is some good reason to do so...
