I tried to get into the battle to defend a village for 1 gold, but I was not hired although the roster was half empty. wtf? i always came to the battles i signed for and had quite decent k:d ratios so far.

i haven't played crpg for ages so i'm not sure if this was already described/is worked on, but in strategus i noticed that if you have no arrows, you loot melee weapon and drop it, it will restore 1 full arrow stack.

Any chance we might have something like Captain mode in cRPG? I heard everybody commands a couple of his bots in the battle in this mode. This way we might pull out some really huge battles :o)

You could choose what bots would spawn with you (cav, spearmen, 2h, 1h, archers, xbowmen, lancers, 1h cav, has etc...)

I'm not sure how it works now but I suppose you get 3 percent bonus/genaration but there is also some limit to max xp gain?

If so I suggest at lower gens the bonus to be higher (like 15 percents for gen 1) and on higher gens close to the xp limit to be lower (like 1 percent for gen) - the numbers don't matter, i sucked them up from my arse, only the basic principle matters. This way casual players would get some nice bonus for their 1st gen while grinders wouldn't loose anything as the average ammount of xp/gen would stay almost the same.

What say you?

The Cave of Odin - multiplayer battle map
Small but very carefuly detailed map for multiplayer battle mode is designed for smaller intensive infantry fights (optimum about 30 on each side). Its primarily designed for melee only servers - archers and cavalry won't be to effective on this scenario. Barriers limit fighting inside the cave and small exterior area around the entrance. The cave interior has everything what a "proper medieval" cave should have - cooking place, storage, armory, bedrooms etc. Map also features two "secret" locations/passages, players knowing them can gain the upper hand in the fights.

I have 2 ideas for minor improvements...

1 - When you kill the last enemy, there should be like 3-5 seconds before the game ends. So all the people with pulled strikes/bows have a time to aim somewhere else than into their teammates.

2 - We have 1-2 slot items. I think it would be good to have 0 slot items too - like for example dagger or some other very small crap weapon without possibility to block. As an archer I'd appreciate that and I think the others too so I wouldn't have to run for minutes looking for unlooted weapon to be able to fight back at least a little.

I have never found on one place all the  cRPG compactible mods that can enhance your graphics, sound, manual-blocking, autoheadshoting etc. In our Fallen forums we've got a special thread for that and I see no reason why not to share some knowledge gained by our multiple members. We only reserve the right to keep private our vMEGA powered autoblock and autoheadshoting modification. I can't guarantee everything will work smoothly as described since it is some time I installed these mods already...


MORE METAL SOUNDS (thx to dextaa for update - 0.221 compactible)
Adds new sounds to cRPG, in general all fighting sounds are more "metalish" and realistic, some people say its also easier to distinguish horses position with these sounds if you have at least a normal headset.

CALADRIA IN DARKNESS - 0.221 compactible
Graphical enhancement - replaces textures, optionally you can add hdri horizons and taller grass and flowers. Looks pretty decent, in some maps way better than realistic colors, in some ways a bit worse. Installation is without a problems, works very well under cRPG. Ok changed my mind - it looks better than realistic colors overall, especially with those horizons enabled. Decide what you want more (realistic colors or this, you can't have both at the same time)

Replaces all those Disney/wow saturated textures with better more "dark medieval looking" ones. This mode works in cRPG without any further adjustements

Following already finished all cRPG FALLEN CLAN TOURNAMENT the other one follows. Invited to come is everybody - not only those that get invitation into their clan threads. But only clan members that will be able to form specified teams are allowed to participate in the event.

There will be multiple fights on one special map among multiple clans. No need to negotiate with other clans where or when or on what map to meet. Everything will happen in three sessions (qualifiers group A, qualifiers group B, finals) - if you don't qualify to finals, you will fight on 1 session only, if you go to finals, you will fight 2 times. Rankings of this tournament will be recorded and updated into a CLAN FALLEN LADDER. The finals will be probably 1 week later - so again on Sunday evening. Exact time will be given later depending on who will go to the finals.


BASIC RULES
1 - Absolutely no fighting outside the ranked tournament fights, no jumping down the tribune, no suiciding or killing teammates to regain health (if you want to regain health, rejoin via spectator). No punching or kicking of other players!!!!
2 - Clan team size is 8 people, 1 clan can form only 1 clan team
3 - Maximum ammount of members of 1 clan logged at one time on the server is 10
4 - The highest body armor you can take for the tournament is Cuir Bouilli over Mail
5 - No spawning on horse, only Tournament masters can spawn on one. Always listen to tournament masters, never hit them back.
6 - Server will be in CTF mode - if your team is called into the tournament fight you have to join the same faction as your clanmates. The first team called into the battle joins upper faction, the 2nd team called into the battle joins lower faction!
7 - If you're recording the event and you're not clan member, please appy here too so you won't be kicked.
8 - Server will be passworded, the password will appear here: bushido
9 - Common sense
10 - Maximum 2 ranged weapons / team (1 ranged weapon = 1 bow OR 1 xbow OR 1 stack of throwing weapons)
11 - No looting of any weapons from the ground (like retaking throwing weapons from the ground, shields etc...)
12 - Rules can be discussed and can change further on

REGISTRATIONS (registrations are CLOSED)
1 - Register your clan by applying in this thread - do not PM me, if you have a question, ask here so others can see the answer and don't have to ask the same thing again. Registrations are opened probably until Wednesday or Thursday.
2 - For registering: include clan name and visual style (visual style goes only to body armors while Cuir Bouilli over Mail is the highest you can take, other armor is free of choice. you can't register with the same visual style as the other clans, except for heraldic armors)
3 - When you register, include also the time you want to fight the qualifiers or include that you can fight on both times. There are 2 qualifiers both of them at the same day: Sunday 20.3. The 1st qualify round is at 17:00 GMT the 2nd qualify round is at 19:00 GMT.
4 - It is still possible to apply to the tournament and still not be allowed to participate. This can happen if you apply late when many clans will be already registered before you and/or if you apply for the same time like majority of the other clans - thuss it won't be possible to find a spot for you in the qualifying group. To prevent this: either apply quickly or make sure you can fight on both times. If you will be able to fight on both times it is highely probable that you will make it into the tournament (same goes for early applications as these have priority over those that apply late).

4 - if under any circumstances your clan fights with lower ammount of people, your missing teamates are considered as killed (other team will get points just like for killing them).
5 - the clan with the most points will qualify from the 1st position into the finals etc...
6 - if number of points is equal than: mutual duel (that already happened) and than number of deaths decide about the final rank

- For victory you no longer get +2 points (so for victory you get always 8) - I found out giving additional points (although reduced compared to previous tourney) is not needed, victories are often with a big difference in score anyways. So lets have closer gaps among competitors in the final table!

I'm getting pissed of on all those idiots like Pecores_Leonidas that hit me, my horse and my teamates right after they spawn with buthering knife, than they run into the melee where they die in the 1st second waiting hapily for another funny round to start...

Aye but thats not so bad as fucking admins like CursedKhergit that bans me permanently from EU2 for TKing this guy - because if sbdy is an admin, I consider he can distinguish between TKing morons that deserve it and TKing on purpose to annoy other players.

Like admins should have at least the very basics of common sense before being even allowed to be admins, otherwise this turns into a joke where leechers and fucktards can teamhit without being banned and do it even on purpose so others that TK them get ban istead. Or do you really give admin rights to everybody - are you so hopeless to accept everyone that applies?

And one last important thing - this whole Admin aBooze section is BS
The very first thing you should make is some complete list of rules concerning basic issues that happen on cRPG daily.

There are admins changing maps - imo they never should change them - there is some map rotation, if there are stupid maps than remove them from rotation, thats all, problem solved and no controversy in changing maps needed.

There are admins that remove the best crpg feature ever - banner balance. One said they have order from higher ranks not to enable the banner balance. Is that true? Or do they adjust banner balance just when they're loosing? Or is the banner balance fucked up? If its fucked up than fix it and don't turn it on until its fixed completely. It again leads to controversy.

Than TKs - is every TK punishable? Should you use common sense? Is team hitting on spawn allowed and not banned but TKing the teamhitter or leacher earns you BAN?

There are no complete rules - and its obvious the admins apparently need them...

4 - if under any circumstances your clan fights with lower ammount of people, your missing teamates are considered as killed (other team will get points just like for killing them).
5 - the clan with the most points after all fights are done wins the tournament
6 - if number of points is equal than: mutual duel (that already happened) and than number of deaths decide about the final rank

NOTE: Depending on number of clans signing in, the tournament will be done within 1 session during Thursday (6 or less clans in the tourney) or there will be 2 groups for qualifying when the 1st one will take place during Thursday and 2nd group probably during Saturday evening with having finals during Sunday evening (this goes for 8 or more participating clans option). If your clan joins as the last one and will get odd number in the registrations, there is a possibility you won't be able to participate in the tournament.
