Strategus General Discussion / What a shield wall can accomplish

I just participated in the Battle of Uzgha against the Wolves.  It was a walled desert town with an open gate.  Tickets started as 1400:500 approx.

5 of us formed a shield wall in the gate.  Once the shield wall bonus took hold (up to +6), not even hammers could really damage it.  Pole arms and hammers bounced off and we took very little damage from arrows.  With archers behind us, the attackers paid very dearly for awhile.  The attackers fell in droves.  The only missing element was spears behind us to keep the attackers at bay.  Again too many singletons sallied forth and lost tickets but the battle ended with about 500:0.  So it was a solid effort, costing the attackers twice as many casualties.

What do most 1 handers heirloom first?  Is it armor, shield or melee weapon.  I'm just curious about the reasoning behind what to heirloom first.

I get throwing proficiency too low line on the screen at every spawn.  My wpf is 80 for throwing.  What's that notice trying to tell me?

I just want to report to the devs that since migrating to the new crpg web page and the new patch I am missing the Long Espada Eslanova that I had before.

Beginner's Help and Guides / Unable to log into new character

I reset my password on the character site.  I can log into 2 old characters but not a newly created one.  It says the password is wrong.  How many characters can I have?
