Strategus Issues / Increase Prosperity by +10 is actually -10?
« on: October 04, 2012, 03:32:36 am »
Today I tried increasing my prosperity with the "Increase Prosperity by +10 [5PP]" icon, and instead of adding to my prosperity of 222 to 232, it reduced it to 212. I had to spend the remaining prosperity points regaining what I had lost due to this...

This also happened with the Increasing of goods price icon, but I thought it was just my mistaken click. But now, after testing with some leftover PP (knowingly that I will lose them permanently), I am sure I was jipped by the web site twice!

The amount of points lost was 13 in just the bug, to regain what I lost I am guessing will come to around 26, due to the the pricing in PP increase per level of fief good price increase.

If this has happened to anyone else, can you please elaborate for me on your own problem with this possible bug?

I plan to record all future point spending, just to be safe, and to show some solid proof behind my claims

Diplomacy / Durquba Borders - *NOW OPEN*
« on: October 02, 2012, 08:36:50 pm »
EDIT: Now open

Many people are itching to get in here to trade! yay!

But...

As we begin to make ready for the upcoming free trade of our city we ask everyone to respect our wishes for visitors/trade caravans to hold off on entering the city. We will be monitoring the incoming caravans over the next day and I will attempt to warn off people who didn't check here. But if after warning such is still pursued, we will halt incoming personnel with force.

Depending on if there was a misunderstanding or this new temporary policy being unbeknownst to the person, goods may be returned pending agreement of a surrender.

Thanks for your time! Hope to see you all down here soon!

Mercenary Recruitment / Help breach the walls of Durquba! - End Game >:(
« on: September 30, 2012, 07:08:14 am »
This is it people, the final push. The end game. We had them on the ropes with a 200 man army... Now it's time for the K/O

Bringing 800+ troops to finalize this thing, and heavier gear and equipment that can supply up to 1000 troops to get the job done. We expect the enemies non-peasant gear to run out within the first 10 minutes, as it did last time.

It's going to be heavy street to street fighting, once we push over the walls. But have faith! Courage will be your shield! And the 200+ board shields & assorted we are bringing... And the Lordly Heraldic mail with tabard... The point is, we have the gear, but need YOU!

Send them packing! We plan to set up a well established & friendly controlled trade hub in the desert! This our "Jerusalem" people.

When the city is ours, all who apply will receive an INITIAL BOUNTY OF 10 GOLD, and an ADDITIONAL 30 GOLD FOR POSITIVE K/D, from yours truly, Inglorious.

Mercenary Recruitment / Taking of Durquba - by surprise - War declaration
« on: September 24, 2012, 07:46:57 pm »
A formal war declaration upon Teneris Kingdom

Seeking to take the City of Durquba. No advanced warning was given so as to snatch the city away from the seemingly unready forces. We had been in the desert for 48 hours heading in the direction in mass. Every other faction had the idea to message me of our intents, but this faction in particular, did not. It is not the Chevalier fault that Teneris is not taking in their surroundings and has no situational awareness. Any advanced warning upon our taking would defeat the point of a surprise attack strategy.

Perhaps next time Teneris will openly message a Chevalier, as did the other non-related factions, on our pending actions in the desert, so as to seek diplomacy to an army with the intent to take a city.

Asking our friendly factions, and anyone wishing to help take the desert, once and for all. For Glory!

Sign up for the Ordre des Chevaliers to take part in our factions fight for the desert city of Durquba!

Diplomacy / An extending of apologies to the NH
« on: September 21, 2012, 07:47:37 am »
As you may have seen there was an attack on an unarmed NH caravans. I would like to extend my apologies for this. I was unaware that there was an agreement for trade routes through the steppe regions, and was informed that this battle was a flop, or a "bad call" on our part.

So albeit, this will hopefully become a friendly early strategus skirmish and relieve both our members of the boredom that comes with the the beginnings of this version of strategus.

Humblest apologies once again, and I hope that this doesn't affect any bad thoughts towards each others faction!

Mercenary Recruitment / Caravan Raid - Exp Opportune
« on: September 21, 2012, 05:42:12 am »
So once upon a time there was a arising Order of French Polish Knights. They were without a home and without money. In order to establish land and wealth, some evil was voted necessary. This evil, being a raid upon an unarmed NH caravan. They became intent on personal glory...

Calling anyone who would like to partake as a mercenary for Ordre des Chevaliers, and in hope that no grudges be held to anyone who does seem willing to do so. Also, no level restrictions, come have some fun if you are new to strat!

Good luck in this strategus vers. NH

Suggestions Corner / Plumed Barbutte *[Model & Pictures Now!]*
« on: July 12, 2012, 03:18:40 pm »
I would like to suggest an idea for a Plumed Barbutte helmet. The main purpose is to signify an officer or leader if you will. Something recognizeable in a hectic crowd/melee.

The plume was historically black horse hairs. I got the opinions of a few people in the community, and they all agreed that having them a color like black would not only look the best, but keep people options for buying it open, due to black being a color that can fit with most anything.

I have a working render for the helm that I use as a custom skinned pack that replaces the barbutte for a plumed barbutte, but I would thuroughly enjoy seeing it implimented into the game as part of a armor and weaponry pack I am working on.
