Yeah I thought the game was taking so long because they were working on actually, you know, making the game good. Not sure why these shitty animations are anything to make an announcement about, it kind of makes me worried that if this is such a huge thing for them that they think it's announcement worthy, they haven't made much more progression than what we've already seen lol. Seriously, who gives a shit if the NPCs are going to shake their head at you or smile, that's a nice bit of fluff but it's not article worthy.

Well since they've committed themselves into posting a devblog every week, it's no surprise we are going to see some amount of filler stuff.

I think the hunting crossbow and light crossbow roles should be reversed. Hunting crossbow is atm the weakest one and most closely fits with your suggested role for light crossbow. I don't see the need for the change in hierarchy.

Overall the changes for heavier and medium crossbows look alright. I Wouldn't slow down the weakest crossbow's reload or give it so much more damage, though. I currently run a pretty niche crossbow build with hunting crossbow, where I compensate for the lack of damage and missile speed with headshots and mobility. Willing to give suggested changes a try though, even if it would pretty much ruin my current playstyle.

What bothers me most is that even the layout of that demo castle is very familiar. Also, again, I am hoping those old voices/sounds are replaced.

I should think so since they have voice acted dialogue and quests. Propably just placesholders.

What bothered me was how quickly everyone died and how nobody in the initial fight seemed to have arsed to bring a shield to the battle. Also the massive mountains of corpses seemed unreasonable and Jon's plot armour was showing a bit too much. Also it looked like there was far less troops in the battle than 2000 vs 6000.

I actually liked the scene at the end where the spears were closing in and Jon's troops got really clamped together.

That's the ending I got as well. Reached an alternative one by reloading a save. Suffice to say it didn't end pleasantly either. There are no 100% happy endings as usual. No blacks and whites, but grays all around the place. I don't know though. Maybe there are other alternative endings? I didn't want to google it. I have just started a new game+ and would like to try other options to see if I can change things this time.

Well I got the ending where the sisters have a hug at the end and everything is just swell. Regis had to kill Detlaff but that was it.

They had been throwing them like grenades just fine before, but she decided to suicide instead out of nowhere.

Yeah seemed kinda dumb(even if she felt guilt and wanted to die fighting). They couldn't hit shit with them though in the scene earlier. Should have invested in Weapon Master.

Dungeon Siege, Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna and Dungeon Siege II were my favourites for a long time. Oh and FATE and Gothic 3!

From the newer ones Witcher 3 is by far the best.

But overall dragons are IMO pretty overrated and and appear in too many fantasy series.

I believe there is a character who has important info about Jon Snow. I am like %100 sure that he is a Targaryen, and whole story is based on that imo.

Well they showed Targaryen soldiers in the trailers, which is propably a vision Bran sees. Might reveal to him Jon's past and could inform Jon or someone else through weirwood  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Suprisingly many things are the same if not little enhanced. There are a fair amount of of new stuff as well, though so I am satisfied.
Can't wait to see what they did to siege since siege battles were the most boring thing ever in native warband.
