Why?

An item bought is gold exchanged for the item.
Therefore items are proportionate to gold, and gold is proportionate to time played as you have stated.
Therefore items are proportionate to time played.


With a large marketplace this would put an and to item wasting. Just have the main put it on the second hand market whenever the player desires.

I don't understand what this heirloom fuss is all about. Because it seems everyone has them, go around the battlefield almost every weapon is heirloomed.

Do +2/+3 weapons really make that much of a difference? Most players are of different levels/classes/outfits anyhow. Of course no lifers will have everything upgraded, and have a ton of gold, but who cares?

This would make my item list way too big to look through, considering I have a character for every class... 16 characters even not counting duplicates... that adds up to the majority of the shop items :/

You are right, I did not consider people who own majority of the shop, have to think this through carefully. Perhaps a function that allows user to create custom load-outs could be used to fix this.

Suggestion:

 - All of the items you own will be in one pool with that account and usable on all of the characters. Only MAIN can trade the items.
 - Duplicate items autodeleted or sold.
 - Gold pooled into 1 chest.

Benefits:

 - No need to re-buy the same items on every character. No need to re-grind gold. Think of it this way: A new heir to your main characters family who has access to his fathers/mothers warchest, smithy and stables. Family Heirlooms would be truly family heirlooms.
 
- I imagine this also would clean up the database quite a bit.

Barn Armory:

Allow free transfer of gear and gold between characters on the same account.

Grain Exchange:

Private transfer of gear and gold between two accounts.

Guild Warehouse:

Cache for members of the same faction on strategus. Members with higher rank can access higher rank Chests.



MERCENARY WARCHEST


Using players own equip in Strategus. Player will have to pay full upkeep on the item per # of deaths. Or let it brake and go to hell.

Publish their names and it will make me feel much better about myself with the confirmation that people who could block in a crowd better than me were cheaters!

Bad idea because this would fuck the heirloom system up if they reset the heirlooms or lower peoples generations.

eg. u give 5 heirlooms to a gen 1 alt, reset happens he only got 1 heirloom. then u will all moan about it.

Your wrong.

The generations on your main will remain the same. Therefore you can transfer back the un-heirloomed stuff and heirloom it again.

It's not rewarding too much. XP and gold gains are much better in battle.

But it is way easier to leech. On the full 25 man server there are always 5+ leeches who stand in the back of the cave AFK. While the rest do the job. Also x5 multiplier is constant because those who don't spawn on the loosing wave (nords) get to keep it for the peasants all over again.

 - Remove all the silly player boundaries.
 - Allow horses and ladders.
 - Increase AI with ranged that actually does damage to tin can's.

Do you use Steam? I verified the integrity and all that, said 77 files were missing....It hasn't d/c'd since.

Yea I do. Holy shit, should give that I try. Why would the integrity be off though? I just installed the game...
