I stumbled onto this game after a terribly bad experience with a horrible clan during one of the worst periods in my life. I spent an, honestly, unhealthy amount of time making my way to generation 19.

I remember Camping The Stairs and xKhanx, shield walls and [D]efend the Stairs!

I remember morning duels when the servers were "low" population at 15-20 people before the daily rush of 30/40 per side rolled in.

I remember goatee :D

I remember when archery was viable, and when horseback xbow was broken.

I remember overtuning athletics, running about with a rondel dagger, and absolutely assassinating backline players.

I remember getting stomped by players who were actually good at the mechanics, but also holding my own enough to enjoy most rounds.

I remember grand battles and good times, a lot of trash talk with very little malice.

I guess what i'm trying to say is it's weird that i'm back at a forum for a game i haven't really in at least 5 years, but that's a testament to quality and community.

Y'all provided some great times and i'm looking forward to what comes for CRPG Bannerlord.

Until then I'm honestly thankful for the times i had here, they are in my top 3 lifetime gaming experiences.

You guys are unironically the bestest.

Hey bros, I've been off playing other games for a while- just wondering what had changed lately? I notice there's still a lot of buzz about archery, but what's this about a WPF change? Does NA still have players?

Anywho, hope the old guard has been doing well and having fun!

I've been a jerk in the past. I'm kinda sick of it and it wasn't really polite and I apologize. If I have TW'ed, TK'ed, hazed, or harassed you in the past I apologize. In the future I will be chill instead of jerk.

Sorry dudes, CRPG is a pretty fun place to be and i'm kinda tired of being a dickpuncher. I know a thread is kinda lame, but i'm a firm believer in admitting when I'm wrong no matter how awkward.

If you're in the area this storm is in you need to take this seriously. Also if you could make a post here if you're in the path and if you can after the storm. After Katrina there were a lot of people MIA and while we all have our differences sometimes it would be nice to know you're all okay.

Very interesting that you argued in rohypnol's thread that the fact that he got kicked meant that the community had come to a decision thus it was justified, yet in your own thread you argue exactly the opposite.

This is exactly the sort of thing i was warning you about when i was saying "rule by mob" rather than rule by policies as written.

Also i hope there are no admins in this list because i saw someone kicked earlier and i asked for admin action on this blatant affront but no one in this list lifted a finger. I suppose there are fewer NA_1 admins than i remember or perhaps they were too busy.

So i was fighting on NA 1 today and was kicked at x5 for trying to fight Partyboy. After everyone else was killed in round one on a map where most people didn't have the download i got off my horse to fight so that it would go quicker and more people could join. The second i got off for a 1 v 1 duel partyboy tried to horsesteal so i said screw it and remounted. I then went to search for his heavy lance so i could actually attack from my horse and was votekicked. An admin, Tydeus_GG was on and saw the whole event. Not only did he not turn off polls he validated this kick, accusing me of delaying even though I was the one votekicked for trying to hasten the roundend. Now i'm banned for being stupid enough to be on a server with votekicks on and a knee jerk admin.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I suppose i should have just stayed on my horse and circled near melee range against a pike for 4 minutes until the flags went up, because it seems that certain admins prefer to validate shitty poll abuse than actually do their job. Sure feels great getting punished for trying to maximize the enjoyment for the rest of the server.

Like to hear an actual decision on this because normally i would never dismount at the end of a round, and i got completely fucked for doing the charitable thing for the server since i figured the duel would hasten the next round so everyone could play.

Not sure why votekicks are ever on when an admin is in server anyway. Seems like a way for admins to get away with letting bullshit that would never pass as an admin decision while looking the other way.

There's really no reason that voice command are able to be spammed for minutes at a time. An auto-lockout after x number of attempts would make this a much more pleasant mod.

I remember playing in a stronghold beta a while back but i haven't heard anything on it. Even in it's alpha state it was pretty fun and i can only see the mod being better for its inclusion. I hope you guys are still working on the addition, and i'd wager i'm not the only one.

General Discussion / Does any other class have to "skip" a generation?

Just noticed today that the "fix" placed bodkins at 0-0-1-2. This seems ridiculous as it makes archers the only class who have to spend an entire loom point for absolutely no benefit, which is ridiculous.

The only bonus arrows have is their damage, yet fledgling new archers will wait the time it takes to retire only to find that their character gains nothing but the chance to do it over again for the any sort of upgrade.

How is this in any way balanced? I understand changing the damage spread, but honestly giving someone nothing for a loompoint is astounding.

Is this another error or a "feature"?
