Title: Item balancers
Post by: Kirman on October 02, 2015, 11:07:17 am
Fuck You!

Great Long Bardiche: Changing the thrust damage to cut. Also One Handed Bar Mace and Great Long Bardiche has the same weight now...
Great Long Axe:  -1 Swing Damage
Long Maul: It was already a useless weapon and now if you dont have it +3 don't bother....

Thanks for ruining all 3 weapons that i use. Now give me my bodybag...

Great long axe was my main weapon but it was short and lots of agiwhore nowadays so i did adapt with great long bardiche. Less speed, unbalanced but long and could stop the cav with thrust.. Now it's cut damage!

Just change weapon, there is over 40 different polearms, much better and worse than GLB

Yeah but now it has the same weight with one handed bar mace.  :| GLB should be heavier...

1h bar mace is a chunk of metal, You have a branch and some metal....

1H bar mace has leather around Where You hold it

Here You go get the smaller one

Keep Your Pierce and give You some Balance to fightin

Length is not enough thats the problem. I would keep my GLA then...

So one handed bar mace should be slower or same speed with GLB

1h bar mace has a different swing, You use one hand, generally Your faster With 1h but much weaker

Its half the weapon length, a different type of weapon, and cant be compared to a gigantic axe

Well 35b is probably  not weaker. 1h bar mace was just an example by the way... Also pole stab is not usefull in melee fights it's against cav.

Great long axe was overused, -1 damage is not a huge nerf.

GLB is my fave weapon, the stab was only ever useful as a surprise attack vs low armour anyway, and with cut it's just as useful. As an advocate for manly cut damage I am glad my favourite weapon is now pure cut.

Long Maul, how was it changed? (also a favourite of mine), I know it sure looks way cooler now

GLA: Second or third time gets a damage or speed reduce.

Regular and +1 long maul nerfed damage wise. You should have it +3 otherwise it's useless. By useless i mean look at Xynox's comparison.

I was using GLB stab against cav. It was usefull. But now it's cut which means you can't stop the horse but get couched. Maybe even glance on heavy horses cause 21 cut

I still use it vs cav, I haven't used the GLB thrust vs cav in years, since good timing can let you outreach a lance with your overhead and 1-shot their horse (sometimes horse + rider together). I played last night and my most successful round was on the map where we were against a full stack of couch-cav, I used GLB. Not only is it effective if you time it right, but it's also the manliest thing you can do in cRPG to face a lance with your overhead. Even now I love facing a cav stack with my GLB

Stab use to be safer and by looking at the weapon it should be pierce

Don't get me wrong, I have no idea why it was changed to cut thrust and that particular change makes no sense to me. But I just don't feel like it drastically nerfs my favourite weapon

We have different playstyle, when i use my GLB i rely on that stab to stop cav. You can't stop the horse with ''cut'' stab. Thats why it's a huge nerf  for me...

The only fast 1h swimgs are the macroed ones

I am using GLB since I stopped sucking me mums teat, so I may be biased, but let me tell you this

If I can't stop a horse with a thrust, I'll stop it with an overhead
