Why is the stuff so mixed up?
AMD and Intel, several 970s, one 980?
PINK MOUSE and flashy keyboards?!

Anyway, enjoy plugging it together :D

Edit: Actually, best thing is the vacuum cleaner in the back!
Title: Re: Christmas
Post by: chadz on September 11, 2015, 09:24:50 am
we intentionally bought different combinations for testing purposes

edit: and it's not a vacuum cleaner. its vax powermax, or just powermax for friends. it's what gordon freeman would use to clean.

Anyway the 970 is here so I know the game gonna run fine on my pc now.

edit: didn't see the XFX 380's. Why not the fury HBM ?

Nice to see you guys still going strong! New hardware, some office space, confident posture - your stock went way up in my eyes. :)
You need a water dispenser for the finishing touch. No office can be complete without a water dispenser.

Also I hope you share the building with enough people to have a cafeteria. Warm food in a cozy environment, eyeballing attractive females, the uniting force of sharing same meals together - a well working cafeteria can be the highpoint of a boring day, or can give a much needed relief when it's busy and stressful.

Anyways, it all looks very neat and proper! Keep it up ;D

This is actually a decent amount of info, we knew they were moving office (and country) which was clearly going to slow things down but they've bought what £15000 worth of equipment too so that's a big step.

I thought they hired Thomek for that.

You better wait for everyone to be in place. I'll arrive in Belfast the 3rd of October, and some other teammembers hopefully shortly after that. (chadz, cmp, Jacko are already there.) Stuff like visas and bureaucracy takes a indeterminable amount of time so can't give you guys a final ETA.

As we are finally getting together, don't be surprised if the scope, ambition or many other gameplay elements might change. This is because we will finally be able to communicate efficiently together, different skillsets of teammembers might get a chance to flourish, as well as we will get a much firmer idea of what we as a team are able to accomplish.

The only thing that is sure is that this is for the better, much much better! For us and for the game.

And yes, once we start rolling, I will probably make some videos for you and try to figure out how we can all interact in a positive way without it being detrimental to the game. :)

Shouldn't you be able to go to any EU member country for 3 months without a visa if you are an EU citizen
Although you do not automatically have a work permit but I doubt that anyone is going to report that :D

Anyway it is nice to hear that you are all nearly there.
