Don't talk about stuff you have no idea of... This has nothing to do with DDoSing.
-
You have no proof

prolly bruteforced your i.r.c. for access to your n.a.s. via v.p.n., then tunneled trough your a.s.s., just to f.w.d. your p.w. to their w.i.f.i.
Simple really.

A Distributed Denial of Service attack is an attack by a group of zombies (bots) that seek to do an attack on a large group of people, this is why it has the name distributed, these are targeted on things like schools or businesses.
A Denial of Service attack, no matter the length or strength of it, could not possibly delete your account, that is down to you, or down to some other thing. It's impossible for a DDos or Dos attack to harm your account and completely delete it.
I'm probably being baited but I might as well bite.

Not true at all. I had a friend a few years back that was DDoSing a server in a way that would mess with the database and spew out important info (account names, passwords etc). Was not crpg was some silly IRC server, but there are ways that a DDoS attack can compromise accounts. Not sure how he did it, but I saw the aftermath lol.

The target can be a single system, the distributed part comes from the fact that there are multiple attackers (i.e. a botnet).

I think I should also display the same level of naivety and advise you to create a new character with the same name and stuff. But that train seems to have taken off already :D

That's not DDoSing at all, prolly some sort of sql injection.

I stand corrected then, apologies for my incorrect info.
