Title: Battle map submissions for official servers 2.0

You made a battle map and would like to see it on the official EU and NA servers? This is the place to submit it.

There are some basic rules if you want your map to be considered:
Maps will be added in packs rather then one by one, so it might be a while until your map is added. You might also be requested to do some adjustements, ranging from balancing changes to bugfixing.

Added very loose cover around the spawn and generally slightly improved that area, lowered the floating godgrass to mortal heights, did very minor improvements to the invisible walls, filled in a hole in the cliff walls.

You already have the scenes.txt stuff in the mod.

Here is an update to Snowy Town and a big update to Upheaval. Also re-added Ruined Fort now known as Overgrown.

Upheaval

Took away the broken building in the middle because I felt like it was just weird there and gave ranged an annoying advantage. Also fixed the HUGE FPS PROBLEM. Some minor fixes that don't need to be noted.

Overgrown

This is just my map Ruined Fort completely re-done since I deleted all traces of it somehow.  :rolleyes:  But anyways it's basically the same so I don't think screenshots are needed. But just in case i'll add the old ones in.

Scorched Earth

This map is pretty simple just a forest with ruins in the middle. It's supposed to be a forest that caught on fire but didn't burn too much vegetation, however it caught a few souls and houses on fire.

I only messed with the terrain a bit, and painted the ground, just like Jarold asked.  No big deal!

New patch for Goat Road:

Further optimized the wheat field and some bushes, tested in hosting mode, should finally be bellow the flora limit.
Made the bridge less wide to discourage usage, will replace it with an even thinner rope bridge if I still deem it a problem.
And most importantly: Moved the scarecrows strawhat so his head doesn't clip through it.


Will add more cover eventuallyish when I feel like it and got time, releasing this now so I won't miss the next patch or something and the update will wait three months.

Moved spawns and flags. Changed log bridge out for stone bridge. Added a log cabin and stable for ranged protection. Added a wooden bridge to cross the ford (or fjord for you vikings). Main fighting should no longer take place in river.

Here's a map I made.  The two boxes attached to the end of the walls are spawnpoints, I forgot to mspaint it in. battle spawns and the 3 motf spawns are set.

Cheese and Boat
Some shadows in the screens look weird because i was messing with stuff, would look fine after reloading the map. There's no way onto the roofs or walls, i just added the bridges for fun. Also i forgot to change the outside terrain to desert but it's fixed now.

Bariyye
***Updates***
Added another route on ground to roofs for inside spawn and made inside spawn area larger. Removed AI mesh to decrease file size. Replaced/removed some minor objects. Moved flag locations.

Blue Forest (formerly Blue Bells & Beech Trees which was too long a name)
***Updates***
Slopes have been smoothed out MASSIVELY. Some trees removed (down to 15% of original number). Plants redone from scratch. Spawn and flag locations changed. The stair climbs don't take as long either as the platforms are not as high anymore. Creek is more shallow and dried up in spots for better crossing. Wooden fence guards on ground are taller for better protection from ranged. And of course, AI mesh removed.

Burning of the Ships

Removed AI mesh to decrease file size (and boy did it decrease by half!). Moved spawn points and flags. Made beach area a little larger.

City Under Siege

Removed AI mesh (dear God it dropped from 540kb to 260kb!) Removed some ladders and buildings. Worked on terrain a bit (smoothing, coloring, textures) and got rid of the inner walls so the city is far more open. Placed a low wall along the perimeter where the barriers are. Removed a lot of smoke for particle effects, cut back on torches, deleted items that no longer exist in cRPG, and moved spawns and flags.

Removed AI mesh to decrease file size. Moved spawns and flags. Smoothed the terrain out a lot. Made the water more shallow. Removed gatehouse and replaced it with a frozen village. Lightened the terrain color a bit so it isn't pure ice blue.

Rivendell

I thought the old problem where you place the prop "water_river" caused players at a lower elevation to view things as if "underwater" was fixed. Apparently not. After testing it through hosting, I found the only way you don't get the 'blue fog' is to turn water reflections completely off.

Battle map, with a pretty simple idea. Fight for the control of the big bridge. There's also alternative way to the other side of the bridge included. Idea stole from another game  :twisted:
