Depends wholly on the perspective; in most of Europe the Viking Age is a part of the Middle Ages beginning at the fall of the Western Roman Empire (around 476) but in traditional Scandinavian historiology the Middle Ages is regarded as beginning around 1050 at the end of the Viking Age. Generally, Viking Age culture had little to do with what we traditionally connect with Medieval society, such as feudalism, the role of the Church, Catholicism and Islam, the Papacy and Monastic orders, the birth of the universities etc. so I intentionally refrained from posting Viking docs here but feel free to do whatever you wish :)

I'd really like to see more of those, myself. Speaks a lot for the weapons and the fashion of warfare seeing what injury types were inflicted.

A really excellent documentary I recently found about the Talhoffer manuscripts (some of our better sources to Medieval warfare). Don't mind the Danish texting, it's a UK program and the voice-over is in English (you may recognize the experimental archaeologist from 'The Weapons that Made Britain' series):

I liked watching these for his macabre fascination with the weapons.

Mike Loades is the guy who presents the Weapons that made Britain series, he is an awesome guy with a lot of knowledge, anything I have watched with him in it has been a good watch.

Interesting channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/scholagladiatoria?feature=watch). This guy has something like 200 videos mostly about melee combat in medieval and renaissance.

Some random highlights:

Damage and wounds caused by stab wounds from various weapons

Sword carrying laws in medieval England

Katana myth (there's like 5 parts of this)

Double bitted axes (response to Lindybeige)
