It's a tech demo by some Czech studio for a new medieval rpg... It looks pretty nice :)

I wouldnt mind it looking like shit, aslong as the FPS is in acceptable playing level and I dont need a special hardcore predator PC that eats other PCs to run it smooth.

I got a pretty good PC, it's just that a game like this should also run on lowend PCs imo and in games like this its not always 100% sure it will run smooth for you all the time. Imagine if it had like 200 players running on the battlefield with ubergraphics and bigass maps. You so sure you will run it smooth as ice yourself? Not many can run Warband everything maxed, imagine the state in M&B2.

Warband intentionally has ok graphics, at max they actually look really good. Even a high end video card will have trouble with 200+ players/npc's on a screen with graphics like war of the roses or chivalry. My friend's gtx 770 ($400, very good graphics card, can run crysis 2 at around 60 fps on ultra) sometimes reaches 30 fps with 300 npc's on screen in singleplayer! So imagine that with chivalry graphics probably wouldn't be so good.
So I think they will improve a little bit but not too much where you are gonna be able to compare them to chivalry or something like that.

That is more CPU than GPU intensive.
I am also curious how the project could be, wish we could see a screenshot of that tuned engine.

Well he also has 8gb of ram and an intel i7 processor so I doubt it can get any better than that. I go over to his house to play games I don't even like on max settings because I just like the way his games look with smooth fps. XD
