Persian battle axe is 2h wpf.

To check what kind of wpf you'll be using, just do a block.  If it's 2h animations, it's 2h wpf.  If it's 1h animations, it's 1h wpf.  (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Persian Battle Axe uses 2h WPF.

Any 2h weapon used from horseback, WITHOUT a shield will use 2h WPF.

2h Axes are not useable with shield so will always use 2h WPF, weapons such as morningstars, bastard swords and longswords however will use 1h WPF if used with a shield.

And therefor will not get the 30% penalty to damage that two handers from horseback get right?

Afaik no.  2h weps used from horseback recieve the damage and speed penalty but use the 2h wpf. If used with a shield you recieve the penalty and use 1h WPF.

As I understand it, they take a different penalty (~15% ?) when used as a 1h with shield, but they don't take the 2h (~30%) penalty.  Something like that.

May be the case, doesnt make much sence though. Surely using the sword without the shield would be easier than with.

Anyway 2h cav is for style / footman efficiency more than practicality. :p

Yeah, I know, it's weird.  But I agree, 2h cav is ~stylin~!
