I like that the castle looks the same on the map as the castle you walk around.  Mostly an unlikely feature, but it would be neat if the side you attacked a place from on the map, would be the same place your spawns would be on the siege, so you could attack the same castle from different sides trying to find weak spots.

The perks are pretty shit for what they are in that version, but I believe that mods can do a lot with that system.
