Notch to sell Mojang to Microsoft

Minecraft has been out longer than 2013, it was released in late 2011...so you're missing a whole year of earnings in 2012. 

But I agree with you, highly doubt they'll get their money back and would have been much cooler to see them fund indie games under some new banner.
I guess this is just Microsofts way of buying into the market at a loss to try and get marketshare and rep/street cred.

I at least like direction new CEO is taking Microsoft.


Did you also see that Notch is leaving the company?

Typewriters have been around since 1900, but I wouldn't buy a typewriter factory based on their profit made in that time :wink:
