Iron Flesh becoming a "skill"

At the moment iron flesh is simply extra hit points

What if Armours had an Iron flesh requirement as opposed to str? The highest tier plate armours might have only 5 or 6 (15 or 18 str) requirement but in light of the most recent heavy armour buff these values seem fair to me. This will reduce the number of min maxed 21/21 and 27/15 style builds. I admit myself I usually run only 5 Iron flesh but I don't think allowing access to a potential 64 body armour to a 0If 12str build is fair or logical (9 or 10 ath!!).

TLDR To decrease heavy armour on ath, 1h cav and min maxed builds iron flesh becomes a requirement for armour

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

I'd be glad to see iron flesh becoming like shield skill, not giving extra HP but improving the effectivity of armor, like reducing the effective weight of the armor (moving faster) and maybe giving more protection aswell.

I do have to say I think IF is actually a skill many forget about (including myself) but it can actually do a pretty good job, those extra hitpoints can save your life.

I think IF's 2 health points is hardcoded. So they cannot remove it without forcing WSE2 (if that even makes it possible).

@OP: Like the idea, but since it would be a massive nerf to agility based builds, who rarely cannot afford extra IF because you need to spend to ability point per 3 atribute points to reach the full potention (1 for Ath and 1 for WM) while you only need to spend 1 point on PS for STR builds, we would need to compensate by nerfing STR builds.

If this suggestion should be fair in any way, then we would have to force a certain WM skill or (effective) wpf as requirement for weapons.

But I fear that this would only lead to more min maxing and focus on "balanced builds" and boring similar generic builds.

Iron Flesh is already a very important skill.

This would be fair if Iron Flesh only offered 1HP instead of two, or if at least STR did not give free HP for no reason.

The OP suggests to restrict something that shouldn't even be restricted.
Agi build with heavy armour is pretty much worthless setup anyway, why would you try to nerf it?

I've been playing with 30 agi for quite a long time (got to 34 lvl with that build) and I often noticed my Black lamellar vest (9.1kg) was too heavy for me.

being a brute (iron flesh) isn't a skill you can gain, its the way you are born, the way you are build no? IRL not everyone can become like Arnold (despite what they may think themselves)
