Actually no. I was considering it but then just couldn't be arsed.

Also it is a great graphics card, loving it already.

They advertised/sold it as a 4GB card but it's only 3.5GB.
Because AMD found out about it, they lowered the price of their 4GB cards. So most people got their money back for the 970 and then bought a AMD card.

meh dunno if he should had returned it for an amd atm, at least not reference models :S i have an r9 290 and it's a furnace, waiting for my arctic accelero xtreme iv to arrive :/

Actually it is 4gb card, memory infrastructure is just divided to 3,5gb+0.5gb.

Basically 970 is 980 with slightly broken chip.

my r9 290 couldn't go below 70 °C with the reference cooling system, had to change it :/

and even with this the vram still gets extremely hot, can't fucking OC it (only the core, at least that :/ )
