Which of these 2 STR builds would be the most amusing?

Or alternatively, irritating?

This is just my idle curiosity on what it would be like to play an extreme build, not really viable for duels or battle, just an amusing concept with a caveman mentality of hitting things extremely hard with a great maul, or using black plate and wielding rocks and a stick.

And yes, I was listening to the radio when I named these builds  :P

Thoughts, suggestions or hate comments? I was thinking of making a 39 STR build with 13 Iron Flesh and 4 power strike, so I have 100 HP, and then troll around in black plate and a peasant cleaver, but I am not sure if that would even work at all...

And no, once this hits 30 I am not going to retire, as this will be an Alt experiment rarely played.

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.

Go with the first build, it would be more fun.  Get to live longer with IF 11

Wanna irritate people?

Here you go:

Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)

Strength: 39
Agility: 3
Hit points: 74
Converted: 14
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 4
Shield: 0
Athletics: 0
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 13
Weapon Master: 0
One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 1
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 1
Throwing: 113

Pure thrower = pure fun. Carpe diem. Enjoy throwing now, because you'll never know when it is going to get raped down by chadz. It is pure overpowered class.

If you are not willing to grind to 31 to retire, you can also go for even more pure thrower, but with 14 pt at 31 lvl:

Level 31 (8 892 403 xp)

Strength: 42
Agility: 3
Hit points: 77
Converted: 18
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 0
Shield: 0
Athletics: 0
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 14
Weapon Master: 0
One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 1
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 1
Throwing: 115

Why pure thrower? Because you can 3-4hit-kill armored people with stones? I dont even mention awesome 2hit-kills with stones if you throw at peasants. Stones get sniping accuracy at 13PT. Pure awesomeness, I say ya.

Or you can grab throwing lances and enjoy 1hit-killing everything from peasant to plated charger. Pure awesomeness, I say ya.

If you run out of ammo, pick up some throwing weapons from the ground, you can be sure you will find some. Pure awesomeness, I say ya.

And remember: hardhitting weapons, like flamberge or great long bardiches should be your secondary weapon if you ever take one. I didn't take any sec weapon and topped scoreboard on sieges with javelins. Pure awesomeness, I say ya.

Go with Build one; past 10 PS is really just overkill, and you're going to crush every time with a maul at 10. And murdering.
Build 2 doesn't do much more damage to warrant that much less hp :P

This modification to build one will be the most gay ultra OP shit you've ever seen. Do it only if you are on my team please.
If you want to be the most asshole: 6 IF, 11 PS, 11 PT, 1 athletics (that 1 athletics helps... really.)
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower

The fact that both have throwing makes the entire question pointless

Thx for the compliment that s exactly my thrower build except i 've 2 athletic and wpm and 0 IF

BTW i 've got a better killing ratio on both pure polearm (+0.3) user and hybrid polearm/xbow (+0.2) than with my thrower, but i guess that mean nothing compared to the frustration of being shotgunned from closerange, Nurf throwing nuurrrf nurf. wait nowday it's more nurf xbow easymode kill nurf nurf.

Well that is where you went wrong.
Also, Strength builds aren't for everyone. If you have poor timing/blocking strength builds may not be your playstyle.
If i might ask; what weapon did you use for melee and what throwing did you primarily use?

8jav 4jarrid usually for throwing and mallet for the fun and the style. Could have had a better K/D if i invested all my wpf for melee and  used a bar mace, but i made that char for throwing.

Such flawless argument i can only agree

Strength build are best for experienced player where you can get away with being somewhat slower and having less athletics nothing new, but are you suggesting I would have done better with less PT and more agi as a thrower ? I don't get it.

Noo, the opposite. No agi. levels of WM under 3 don't accumulate to anything worthwhile. Also, the difference of 1 ath vs 2 ath is insignificant if you have medium armor or higher on.
Also, The IF would be very useful to the build's survivability with medium and especially heavy armor.
And, in the low wpf scenario you are stuck with I'd put only into melee, yeah. Throwing just javelins would probably have netted you a higher KDR as well, as you will be more used to the accuracy & drop variation rather than switching and compensating for jarid's less accuracy. Besides, Javelins will 1hit light armor and 2 hit heavy armored non-strength tanks with 11 PT.
Personally the highest KDR throwing I attain & see is with darts, war darts, or javelins.

I really don't like throwing anymore though.

36/3 all melee works nice with good armor. I had a 36/3 12 PS 11 IF build with GLB, and it one-hitted almost everyone. I'd also go for the first build. You will be slow and thus in need of IF.

Same as zagibu, 36 / 3, 12 PS and 11 IF, heirloomed great long bardiche, you one shot almost everyone.
Don t know if it will be as efficient with two handed weapons, I mostly compensate my slow attack speed with weapon reach.

Fun build.
