[Siege Servers] EU_cRPG_2 & EU_cRPG_5

Use this thread to voice your opinions about the current maps. If a map has got it's own thread, discuss it in there. If you want a specific map hosted on those siege servers, post your suggestion here and let others discuss it.


The following maps are currently in the map rotation: (screenshots in spoilers)

- Hailes Castle: Native siege map, unmodified

- Turin Castle:
  Native siege map, I added an invisible barrier above the portcullis, not sure if it was exploitable on this map, but you can never be too careful.
  Unfortunately, the file size of this map is quite large. (download scn_multi_scene_10.sco)

- Jameyyed Castle:
  Native siege map, an invisible barrier has been added to prevent laddering over the gate. (download scn_multi_scene_16)

- Mahdaar Castle:
  Native siege map, modified with an invisible barrier above the portcullis. (download scn_multi_scene_15.sco)

- Brunwud Castle:
  Native siege map, I put the castle inside the keep to make it easier for the defending side to hold it. (download scn_multi_scene_13.sco)

- Rudkhan Castle:
  Native siege map. The sally door has been removed, the ladder to the wall from the courtyard has been moved to that place.
  Another staircase has been added near the ladder to the right of the gate.
  The attackers spawn closer to the gate and the siege towers, more defenders spawn near the gate. (download scn_multi_scene_8.sco)

Freland:
I think Hailes Castle is a tad too easy as attacker.

- As a defender you can spawn on the wall over the house. AFAIK there is no way to get directly to the flag from there. Either you jump off the house and loose half of your hp or you have to go all the way across the wall to reach the stairs which takes quite long. Perhaps add a ladder next to the house?
- maybe sorround the flag with a wall with a breakable door? (would look artifical though)

Wookimonsta:
on Hailes Castles there are a few ways to get to the flag quickly.
For the sake of argument consider the Gate to be facing North.
If you are on the house in the rear, got the Northwestern most corner (where the tree is i think) and you can jump down without damage. Alternatively, you can jump off the walls next to the gatehouse onto the thatch roofs without taking any damage either.

Punisher:
A bit off-topic but the EU1 & EU2 maps need urgent attention, from all the tons of custom maps out there we have mostly native random village maps, that are mostly crap, unbalanced and sometimes with bugged spawns. NA servers have far better maps, so does EU4 I don't know why we don't get them on EU1. But it doesn't surprise me considering Jameyyed Castle hasn't been removed from rotation and it's been several months since it appeared.
