Suggestions Corner / Re: Cavalry
« on: November 19, 2013, 07:58:42 pm »
Personally i think that the only horse that could use some more hp or armor to resist arrows is the War Horse. All horses up to the Eastern warhorses easily get killed by 3-4 shots from a decent range (or 1 shot by one of mendros Jarids). But considering they are completely unarmored its fine imo.
Barbed & padded can take a few more shots which is nice, however the war horse dies way to fast considering it has a mail armor.

Still, as much as i would appreciate a buff for all cav - lobbying for my own class - i cannot really agree since this scene pretty much sums up my gameplay on eu1 whenever i feel like equipping my plate armor & mamluk pony (i call him stompy)

Irrelevant, you say this now because nothing has happened. hold your horses mate, there are reasons for why this looks the way it does, I tried to conduct it all privately, but Kinn and his compatriots dont make these things easy for me.
When you get to the postion where you've been stolen from and then have the chance to stop another thief come back and talk here, then you will understand why there can be no respect for such a person

This comes from the guy who bragged about how he bought Ismirala Castle by paying 8 (?not sure anymore) loompoints to dolby so he betrays his clan. Even dolby has more self-respect than you since he admitted his mistake and handed over the stuff he received for his betrayal.

Beginner's Help and Guides / Re: Attack control by inverse mouse movement
« on: October 20, 2013, 03:04:48 pm »
I never realised that there is people still using "normal" direction. I used Inverted from the first day, so maybe thats why i think its fairly easy, but especially playing as 2h i think its superior to normal settings. It makes Hiltslashing and circling your enemy much easier while you still can use high speed bonus for your attacks, and especially chambering other attacks is very easy while using inverted attacks.
Right now i play 1h cav and i dont see any difficulty in it, though chambering as 1h seems to be quite hard with inverted, but maybe its just hard for me because i am used to 2h.
But as 2h or 4 directional polearm i definitly recommend inverted attack direction.

Joined Templars somewhen during strat 1 after a RL friend of mine went there and asked me to join aswell. Once strat was gone i left the game for ~1 year and gave the game a try again after watching Last Samurai -> Templars did not approve of me using japanese gear , so i left them and played alone some weeks until muff recruited me to Mercs.
Went through MercA, became MercA trainer, leader, and got insanely bored of cprg this year when the weather became nice once again and basicly left it until tony managed to get me interested once again (some weeks ago^^)

ps. : What happened to my beloved eu4 or melee only server  :(

Greys were fighting us while we were active, you fought us while we were inactive. I think they are the ones that can say "They are our main enemy"

Item bombing is nothing compared to this:
(click to show/hide)
I'd say ban for stealing that wall, what next, will they try to sneak out with the keep or the gatehouse in their bags at night?

Strategus General Discussion / Re: Strategus Prisoners

I believe thats the situation every clan faces. I think it would be nice if ppl would disappear for a few days after they lost a battle, afterwards they can crawl home.

Diplomacy / Re: Dolby the traitor?
« on: August 26, 2013, 02:36:30 pm »
This is actually just sad. I dont care about the fief, even though i was managing it for like 50% of the time this strat is live. I was in the hospital for a week so i had to give it away to somebody so it gets taken care of. But seeing that one of the older and very trusted members sells it after having it for 2 days, actually selling it the day i came back home is just disappointing. I never thought that there would be a person with such a low/weak character in our clan.
And now Dolby is even too spineless to reply to me on steam. like Idzo said, pathetic scum, so weak in mind that he can't even talk to the ppl he betrayed anymore.

But rly, 9 lps? You couldve approached us directly with this offer. We wouldve discussed in within the leadership and surely accepted it. I would have sold that castle for less. The thing that disappoints me is that this are basicly 9 loompoints stolen from us, and by us i dont mean mercs but also from deserters since we play as the same faction on strat we wouldve split these points inbetween our clans.
This really shows how pathetic you are. I always found the war thread quite amusing, but now you finally showed that you are one big joke - Dolby on the one hand for selling out a clan he has been in for ages and also stealing lps from another clan and wolves for paying NINE lps for a castle close to the end of this strat.
I think both of you got screwed by this deal. Wolves paid way too much, Dolby became a persona non grata for many ppl, and both sides ruined their reputations.

I say keep the fief, you paid too much for it to give it away.  All i would like to see is that Dolby either gets permabanned or that the Points are give to Deserters and Mercs so we can put them into the armoury and our members can have fun with some new looms which were bought by the effort they put into maintaining this fief, grinding tickets, gold etc...

Ps: If you want more fiefs, gear, gold or tickets, as we said some time ago, it is all for sale, just need somebody who is interested in it (and stupid enough to pay with looms at this point).

Suggestions Corner / Re: Strat rounds to last 3 months
« on: August 26, 2013, 12:32:50 am »
I think even 6 months will be too much. 3-4  rounds per year sounds good, it will be short enough that battles happen with mixed gear and not like now where every army looks the same and is equipped in a standard full plated outfit. Heavy armor will actually mean something in shorter rounds.

We did not threaten the smaller clans. We simply told you that considering kapikulu were your allies we do not expect you to take action in this war on any side and it is fine for us if you stay out of it (instead of helping as it was said in the treaty we made).
I could not care less about cotgs. Their army was in kapi lands and instead of going straight home they took some weird way. If they wouldve gone directly home no one would have attacked them. We told them that we will give the stuff back if they come to pick it up, i already made a list of the items that belong to them, but since nobody showed up i guess they simply did not care. We even wanted to give bashis the 4k back they lost to us because strat got freezed and the battles came up at some stupid time no one was playing, and they were our enemies.

So get your facts together before you bother posting. All i can say is that i really do not care about the opinion of clans like wolves or cotgs, i rather talk to grown-ups. I am nearly out of strat anyway, so I'll leave the trash to you guys now, just try to get some facts in aswell. Talking to you is not worth my time.

Cotgs army was attacked because it went into kapi lands, propably in order to reinforce one of their fiefs - kapi broke the peace already by not acting according to the terms that were made in the agreement. We simply attacked it because we didnt want to risk that any reinforcements arrive in kapikulu fiefs.

come out of ur fiefs Mercs, the big bad grey order aren't up here anymore, its just you and the Wolves now, come and lets have some lunch together.
Now as Woody said we await your fabled counterattack as we have been waiting these past 6 weeks... come already before the next strat wipe plz.

Good one mate, thats why i see their armies around & north of my castle?^^

There is such an agreement, we signed it - your clan didnt - and thats the end of that discussion.

Well, I am not making any decisions for strat anymore, but tbh i would not lower the garrisons in order to give you a nice time to attack.
I kind of like greys/drz, theyre fine enemies on strat and i can be somewhat sure that they will stick to an agreement, so i'd lower my castles garrison in order to get some nice fights against them, like we did in grunwalder for some battles, even though i think it will be very expensive for me to upkeep all this troops when they are on myself^^.

But wolves or this cotgs/blade guys, well, even when we were allies i only found you annoying, this hasn't changed much so far considering your behaviour. Only good thing is that I don't have to do strat anymore, less fiefs, less ppl needed!
So if you want to go on with your plan of wiping us, feel free to attack some other castle than alburq, but i can tell you that they are all bitches to take.
Too bad i was so occupied with my final exams before you attacked, i already had planned to stock up our walled fiefs in the north to 6-7k^^.

Ps:
We actually wanted low our garrisons in all our fiefs but then obama insult putin and we kinda lost motivation  :P

Putin > Obama  :!:
