Plumbo is pretty accurate in his first post and Kesh is correct when saying years ago mod was better. For real people that tried to troll were just insta-ban and Farmer Nate was the greatest shit talker that has ever graced this earth. Trolling was, as he stated, people doing themed things together, and the community was much more pleasant. Now all that's left is the shit at the bottom of the barrel and you guys really went out of your way to prove it. Whenever one of you get in trouble or "bored" you take your toys and go home. Then, you tell everyone how shit the game is and how pathetic they are for playing/caring. Like for real? Open your eyes.

Havelle, I may be old, but I doubt I come off as angry. At least that has never been my intention.
Standing out in this game back when I started was all about skill. Think back and you can still remember some names, most of those people never really said much on the forums but you still know them because on the server they were always at the top. Tons come to mind. Not going to start listing them out and turn it into that who is best thread all over for the 10th time.
At some point things changed, people started focusing on theme characters to become known. Then that morphed into grief characters. I guess using the any press is good press motto. All of a sudden you started to see people trying to out shock everyone in behavior and language. Then even that somehow got worse and people started to shock people... but do it ironically. Calling someone autistic comes to mind in my thoughts as just as bad as anything else.
The Great Hunt - Robert Jordan... is a good book... really you should start at the beginning of the series.

no need to apologize to me, I learned a long time ago TS is evil and has no place in my world (this includes BRD TS). I did not see what was being typed in chat till the bans started flying, and even then, I had no idea what had transpired.
It boggles my mind the way people speak to each-other. I can only assume that they live alone, or somehow have enough sound proofing that no one can hear. The alternative, that no one in their life would have a problem with it, is something I would rather not consider. I try and imagine talking that way knowing that a family member would happen along and hear me... Maybe things have changed a lot since I was young, if one of my parents heard me speak like that, I would be regretting the decision for quite some time afterwords. Banning in game would not even make the list of woes.

The funny thing is I never read chat during a fight and also do not get in ts... I had no idea what this was all about till iv read this thread. Oddly enough the reason I do not, is due to having small kids and I can not have them listen to the way people communicate here and allow them to think it is OK.

You have taken two pointless fiefs, congrats. Even beginners know at this stage, defending bad fiefs is bad strategy. You started this war, do not try and turtle before you even try to do something significant!
Keeping with the premature attackulation analogy, you had two tiny thrusts and it is all over? I feel terrible for the french Canadian women! I imagine that is why bobthehero joined us.... he did not want to be connected to your flaccid attempts to do something in this game.

This does not seem to be working very well for me. None of the items in the fief has an icon for me and at least have of what i am carrying also does not have one. Any way to force it to show the icons and sort into type for me? Using firefox.
