I will never forget his menacing voice. You know the kind. The voice almost every evil character in Hollywood movies has.
Fruitlessly emphasizing every badly pronounced word, tick with the eastern European or Russian accent. The guy was as much a bond villain ingame as he was in real life, i suspect...

I didn't need to be. I was smart enough to get stupid on the last day.

Sorry for not being there much lately, guys. I've been injured in a snowboarding accident (AC joint seperation type 3) and I've been unable to play much because of the neck-, shoulder and headaches.

How to improve difficulty on horses? Make it more skill-based.
1) Remove charge damage altogether. Just bumping someone to death simply isn't a fun game mechanic. It also doesn't require much skill at all (no timing needed + unblockable)
2) Nerf knockdown a bit. Make it shorter and less reliable. Allow people who jump aside to get up faster, but let people who just stand there still be knocked down long like they are now.
That should probably increase the difficulty somewhat and is enough if you ask me.
If you need to do more nerfing, consider adding stuff like the rider falling off the horse when you collide or get stopped. But keep in mind that long stuns aren't a good game mechanic, because they aren't fun.

I find it very interesting that Elmokki has a well reasoned out way of deciding on how much WPF / WM you should take... but it only seems to look at the damage you deal.
For me, the deciding factor in choosing WM5 or WM6 is not the extra damage, but the extra swing speed.
That said, he is probably right. The consensus seems to be that weapon mastery is worth it up to WM3, but after that... meh.
