5 a.m eastern time. I had originally planned that attack at about 1.a.m and then patch shit storm hit and next thing I know it was in the no life 5 a.m time I most certainly didn't wish to have such a time for the battle and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I believe a nice way to cut down on team wounding would be to introduce a negative multiplyer valor system for the player on each team that does the most teamwound damage each round. You could call it the treason system as only treason swilling dogs kill and maim their friends in the hunt for a kill!

Seriously F STRATEGUS! It has been going for a slow grinding almost 2-3 months now and ALL BATTLES ARE STILL peasant melee in rags at best versus archers with a couple of reused mw bows of some form in their already normal archer rags. I AM TIRED OF THIS I MISS SEEING A HUSCARL! I MISS SEEING LEGITIMATE CAVALRY I MISS SEEING A 2hander that isnt a peasant axe or some peasant scythe! GOOD GOD. I understand people occasionally field the joke singular set of full plate and 1 real weapon  but I want to see strategus remove the mw items they are not needed also would like to see the ability to feild a more moderate and balanced army any army assaulting a village or something should be able to field a decent bit of chainmaille a decent cavalry and of coarse there will never ever be a shortage on archers! I get it you have to trade to make money but trading immense ammount of goods and being one of the biggest na trading hubs from what I can tell has done dick all to allow for real gear in any reasonable useful number shit is getting old I enjoyed the first couple of peasant offs where it was naked archers with mw bows russian shooting was hilarious for first 5 minutes then depressingly effective and 0 fun for any one not an archer -.-

Game Balance Discussion / [STATS] Long Dagger. Dmg Increase from 25 p and 23 c to 28 p 26 c

Now I know you all have said you planned to do small changes but. I believe the Long dagger is way under loved. It was the trustee tin can coup de grace machine of every knight.

In short I believe this change would make the long dagger a viable choice as a 0 slot weapon over the Hammer which is the supreme 0 slotter currently. With this dagger you would be giving up your ability to block but put out a slightly harder hit if you stabbed.

I know you could equip this with a shield but the dagger whiffs like mad because it is so short and equipping a shield with it makes this thing feel much weaker.

Even if this change goes through I feel like it will still be very rare to see. I wouldn't even mind a increase in item price.

Game Balance Discussion / Elders Dagger.

I have had a character with a elders dagger. I have 9 powerstrike and I genuinely enjoy being a Knife fighter.
I have however notice that when I first triple loomed it my dagger had done 32 pierce and 29 cut at 114 speed. After so many many minor nerfs my dagger now does 26 cut 28 pierce at 113 speed -.- In essence what was once masterwork slowly got nerfed back to its base stats. Please for the love of all that is holy give the long dagger a bit of purpose buff its damage making it the best 0 slot choice because of its damage or something. I use to use 8 powerstrike with 5 athletics but now I have to use 9 power strike and 5 athletics had to sacrifice my 7 ironflesh just to be able to pose a real threat to armor as this is a high risk weapon. it is one of the shortest weapons in the game and it can only chamber no block please return to me the item I heirloomed back to worth using status.

I the wonderful Linden would like to say...... The strategus battle is like a battle for love no rules are apparent but some unwritten laws are written...... I have noticed that almost every feasible one of these laws is being broken by both sides in this Merc vs Brd war.

Point 1 Mercs and Brd are apparently very adept at battles.
Point 2 Mercs and Brd are apparently very adept at flame battles.
Point 3 Mercs and Brd are Devious in their bug use.
Point 4 Mercs and Brd are very good at culling allies hidden [Mercs] and [Open] Brd
Point 5 Mercs and Brd are good at hiding how hurting they are. This war wages and yet no victor is easily forseen just when you think one is down the other side pulls yet another trump card.

Overall this post need not make to much sense as I am rambling.

I would just like to state.... If nothing else this is the only substantial war I see going on in strat vs two FACTIONS..... This isn't some fight of one group smashing and taking an unclaimed village or city. I would like to see more groups playing some strat.

No need to be so afraid jump in a fray have a violent foray.
For angels neither sides will ever portray.

So let loose the flails of war and leave you opponents in heaped mangles.
Fight from shingles, stone, Grass, mud, and snow. Let fly the hail storm from ones mighty bows.

Set the tables for feast and sport your grand mass of friends of your exploits.
Then Extinguish your inner rage and place it in a cage for that night you sleep and wake to repeat.

Suggestions Corner / QQ about armor.

I was a long time heavy armor player, after the changes seems that even the heaviest of armors will fail to cause a powerstrike 1 wooden sword from glancing even when moving with the blow. I would like to ask humbly that the glancing be returned is it not enough that heavy armor nerfs my wpf and run speed making me slow and predictable ontop of costing a boat ton of cash. I spent a very long time learning how to fight in heavy armor learning when a blow would glance if I moved with it to time an attack. I would trade all damage soaking properties of my armor just to have the glance chances returned. I can no longer fufill my mental fantasy of being a big heavy armor juggernaut able to use my armor to my advantage. I emplore the chadz and crew to rethink this change or atleast make the heavy armor more appealing for its price beyond use vs allies and archers, as is it is more of a hinderance in melee than a use.
