Diplomacy / Proposal for Reinvigorating Strategus

Hi, its clear at this point that Strategus is just a race to the bottom and there will be no way to save it without actual cooperation. If it's not me attacking unarmed traders with 70,000 crates because no one else will, horribly mismatched rosters, ghost rosters or fucked up night time settings, it's bad map design or some other shit mechanics. My proposal is to cooperate with a select group of people to get battles to happen. We'd aim to host battles at very good prime time hours, not midnight or 4am. The idea would be ultimately to get a castle or city, arm both sides evenly and have a fight on flat ground outside of the actual walls with forward spawns nearby. All mercs would apply for both teams, and the captains would take turn picking mercs to break up the usual grouping of clans. This would create a friendlier environment where the only goal is to fight, have fun and get EXP, instead of try to do everything in your power to screw the other team over and waste all of their tickets or cap their flags using some scorched earth tactic. I would most likely go for an actual intelligent selection of weapons and armor, instead of the gimmick weapons of my old EXP battles, if that's what the community wants.
Now to what will actually be needed:
A city or castle, so we can fight the free population as well as loom the gear needed for battles.
Troop generators.
Strategus gold.
CRPG Gold for prizes to encourage participation.
At least one other person to help manage gear, gold and inventory.
I know the biggest ask here is for a city or castle, but clearly some players have no plans for some of theirs. Who will help me out so everyone can have some fun?

General Discussion / Soft cap at level 33

I'm level 32 right now and it's absurd that people can have 4 more levels of stats than me. I thought rolling back the high level patch was supposed to fix this, but instead you've made it worse. At least on the high level patch it was easy to get to level 35, and people on the high end were level 37. Now its easy-ish to get 32, but then people have stats up to level 36. Ridiculous, you've increased the gap.
