Current battle & loot system prevents dynamic warfare. Even within 4 months you couldn't do much. For example current Tshibtin situation: UIF & Anti-UIF have about 10k troops each. UIF could attack the village only with 1.5k max(constant charge, little tactics) due to battle timer. & Anti-UIF need to have 2-2.5k troops in the village to always win & to get shitload of loot. So all we could do is to send 1.5k armies one by one, until one side will finally run out of tickets(which is hard since every side have more than one hundred active recruiters). Same goes for Anti-UIF. They can't counterattack our armies in the field, cause we could reinforce our 1.5k armies to unbeatable 2.5k amount & get a lot of loot after battle. Thats why Strat is boring as hell right now on EU.
P.S. same shit was at the beginning of the Strat 4 when Coalition, Crusader alliance, Peacebrakers, Caravand Guard & others brought about 10k troops to the DRZ desert. They besieged Jameyed castle, lost a loot of troops, saw UIF reinforcements(who could prevent any fief capture) & retreated to homeland. Because they couldn't take any fief without loosing almost all their army.
1) Siege takes some time (days) depends on fiefs population and army. More population more time, more army less time. For example 1000 population with 1000 army can hold for 6 days. With 2000 army 3 days. 2) During the siege, the defending side with progressive losing tickets from hunger. In first 3 days they can counterattack (open field battle). After that they will surrender on the 6th day if an ally army will not come to take off siege 3) Siege can be removed from the outside, there will be a fight in the field. 4) Siege can stop if attackers go to the assault. Let's say 4 days besieged to count defenders, 5th day assault. 5) To cancel the siege attacker press special button, but he can move his army only after 12 hours.
I think its not to much work for devs and it can accelerate actions in strat, cause defending side will have less advantage. And its historically. Most of towns and castles were taken by siege, not assault.

Situation. First army have 1000 tickets and good equip, but only 10 real players. Second army have 100 tickets and bad equip, but 20 real players. Second army will win this fight without any chance, they just drop flags. Is this situation normal? Сount of real players make victory, not count of tickets and equip level? If so, there is a big disbalance between big alianses and single players or small factions. Cause it's very hard to make full roster if you haven't many allies. And there are many battles, which should be interesting and stubborn, but ends in 5 minutes, cause disbalance between teams in players count.
I bumped a teammate. The speed was slow. I made it not intentional. I had some lags on that moment. That man reported me. He got damage cause he was without body armor. That made me angry and i wanted to give him a lesson, that is not good idea to report in this situation. I bumped him again and he dead after it. Several seconds after that i got banned. I think that man is an admin. And i also think that he is not good admin. Anyway, sorry for my hot temper and please unban me.
Yesterday i played in Rus 13 AD mod. There is a multiplayer mode named like "Bot general". There were only 2 players I am and one other guy. We had 20 bots in each team. We could manage them like in single player (1-inf, 2-archers, 3-cav, 0 -all; F1 -hold, F2-follow me, F3-charge). It was awesome! It's like Medieval Total War. So, i have some suggestions for crpg with bots: 1) Add them to strategus battle. Many clans has problems with full rosters. And we will fight in any time of day, cause only one player needs to manage bots. 2) Add bots to crpg battle, make one player in each team commander. After commanders death bots will not listen to orders. They will automatically switch in charge mode. So other players will defend commander if they want to use bots efficiently. 3) Each player can "buy" squire in the shop and use him in battles. He automatically switch in F2-follow me mode, and in F3-charge mode after players death. Player pay upkeep for squire.
For example fraction needs to hold 3 towns, 3 castles, 9 vilages for a week. Then strategus will restart. Every player of winner fraction if he consists in fraction more than a month get a masterwork after it and other factions get some crpg gold for every settlement they have. Every fraction limits by 50 members. I think it give impulse to strategus and players, cause now UIF won and all play only by habit. Gold, tickets and other have no importance now and it's sad.
1) New server for this gamemode or eu_crpg4 as a variant, eu_crpg5 for siege. 2) 2 thematic teams by the random for every new map. One of those: european, saracens, mongolean, russians, turks, japans, nords etc. There are a lot of items on every taste in crpg. 3) All items divide on nationals. You can take all items from your team national even you don't buy it in the shop. 4) If you have heirloom item you use it instead of common. 5) Balance, repair, money, exp, multi as in common battle mode. 6) As an option you can check on crpg.net which nation your character prefer and it's take into account when balance divides players by teams.
I think it's good for roleplay for factions and simple players. And this gamemode involved players who prefer native m&b battles.
