That's great news, any info on when the servers will be back up ?

Pestdoktor is still trying to get WSE2 working. EU is running on a Linux machine while NA is on Windows and WSE2 was built for windows. We will see if he can get it to work or cave to the pressure of needing windows  :twisted:

Since I still don't have permissions in the announcements forum and nobody posted a new thread about it I figure I would take the pleasure in letting you all now WSE2 is back on NA servers. EU servers should have WSE2 up soon (if it isn't done already). If you have any questions about EU Servers message Pestdoktor in Discord.

Now that WSE2 is fixed our goal is to get the custom banner system working and then pushing the patch that was slated for January. Once that is done we can finally start working on new content. Thanks for being patient with WSE2 and go kick some ass on the fully functioning server!

Not having access to account options like repecs/retiring, item shop and market in game was the biggest turn off to people I tried to introduce to the mod.

That will never happen. We would be playing MB3 before that would get done. Maybe bannerlord something like that can be done but we still don't have any info on modding for bannerlord soooo...

Idk if you're the right person to ask about this, but do you have any idea if anyone has access to a backup of the website database (if such a thing exists)? I was being a good little clan leader and wasting my "fat stack" on renewing our banner every couple of months when one day upon logging in I had no clan to buy a banner for.  :?  At first the rumor was someone with alts in a bunch of clans wiped out all that he could by claiming leadership since everyone was afk, but the more likely scenario is that when crpg switched servers some clans were deleted for one reason or another. Would be nice to get it back tbh...  :cry:

Doubtful. Dupre would have to ask chadz if they even existed and that daisy chain communication is nearing 0 efficiency lol

Waiting on dupre to give me the new location of banners on the web server. Once he gives me that it should be able to work. Once it is working I kinda want to give out banners because winning one in an auction is nearly impossible. Everyone is sitting on fat stacks.

The biggest problem I see is the auto balancer, it will put all cav or most all ranged on the same team. Instead of balancing classes on each team it balances it player wise so you wind up fighting multiple archers on high ground triangulating you.
I've been on a team with no cav switched to cav to help team and it put me on the team with all the cav.

You pretty much nailed it. I want to change team balance to be of the order classes > banner > points. Will probably be really difficult but it is worth a shot.

Pestdoktor got servers first and made me realize server config files can have a set port command and the NA were different from default. He basically got all the servers up by reminding me I am an idiot.

The main stat for damage is "thrust damage". Power draw, archery weapon skill, relative movement speed of shooter and victim, height difference also has an impact. The lower the projectile speed higher the the effect of the last two. We had spreadsheets to calc damage against different armor situations that were actually quite complicated because the Warband mechanics aren't that simple. This shit's ain't easy.

Iirc weapon difficulty sets the maximum power draw(PD) level that increases damage for bows. I think that was bow difficulty + 4 or something. So a low difficulty bow wouldn't gain more damage from higher PD levels. Higher difficulty also reduces precision(bigger reticule) that was counter-acted in Warband with getting higher PD. To weaken this effect which made high PD build the final solution there were custom crpg scripts that made higher PD reduce wpf(archery weapon skill). I think there was some extra horse archery racism script too.

Speed rating is animation speed that means rate of fire and higher accuracy decreases reticule size, so less randomness.

So why couldn't we explain it to you as if you were 5 years old? We simply are too stupid for that.

The game, it gets to Loading Setting Data, or something of that sort.

That is beyond my koalafications. My guess is WSE is dicking you around. Does it crash in normal warband? Also, are you sure you have 32gb of video ram? Sounds more like 32gb of normal ram. To find video ram you have to use dxdiag or look it up.
