Certainly not as fresh as black flag was... Pirate it if you're poor.
Or you can buy it when it's on sail....dat pun.
I tend to get these games and play them just a few years after they are released. I enjoyed black flag. How many have they released since that one?Four including Origins
Iirc they did a civil war one?

I enjoy open world games, but this has always made me dislike Ubisoft games. In a game like Skyrim, you'll get side quests with stories that are tailored to the area and tell a story about it. With Ubisoft you get an assortment of collectibles, some kind of territory control, a tower, and one other thing depending on the game. That's then copy pasted until the map is full up. The scenery can be interesting, but the content in it is ultimately generic, following the same formula. That always made their games to me boring, even if the gameplay loop is fun. It's just tedious, it feels like a checklist, not a world to explore. I could not do it, but just doing the main story line never feels worth it and then it becomes more of a linear single player game than an open world.
