So finally a Western multiplayer game coming to PC. At first they wanted to do a kickstarter but their initial investors saw how much positive feedback and interest there was in this once they announced it and decided to fully fund them. This means there'll be no classic kickstarter/early access bullshit, but rather (hopefully) a released full product.

Sounds interesting and definitely has potential. I will be playing red dead 2 before this which I expect to be great. That being said this has real potential.

inb4 "build your own town". That being said they better have a shit ton of building that you can walk inside of, that always made Online fun in GTA4 and for Redemption(SP and MP in general), GTA5 however is devoid of walk-in buildings. Like there's a mission in singelplayer where one of the bars open up and you can walk inside it, pretty large building fully decorated etc. but after you're done with the 3 minute mission the building is permanently sealed off again, why?

Yeah GTA 5 has a serious lack of building interiors

Should be more simple for them to do wild west than gta. Simpler towns/map making.

Do you think we will be able to ride with friends?

If this game had Lead and Gold's combat it would be GOLDEN!  :P

These kind of games are very hard to get right. Cautiously optimistic....

From what I heard it's not an actual MMO but more in the style of Rust/Ark/Conan Exiles/GTA Online and similar <100 player server based games (in terms of player count per server). While somewhat disappointing that it's not a full fledged MMO, it makes it a bit more realistic and feasible, imo. Mind you that my info might be wrong, the official FAQ isn't up yet.

Totally agree. Lever action rifles and revolvers are awesome.

With Red Dead Redemption 2 being pushed to spring of 2018 this game might actually stand a better chance of surviving its fall release plans.

Cattle ranch here I come. Can't wait to herd my cows to pasture every morning.

Actually adding stuff like that would be cool. Like the enterprises you can own in GTA online where you have to do missions with your cargo, like the CEO stuff etc.

Yeah I think that's what they're going for. Western GTA Online with sandbox features. A nice little FUCK YOU to Rockstar for fucking PC with RDR2 once again

Huge speculations the infamous Sergey Titov might be behind this:

if this is true then RIP

So they say they are just using his game engine but he is in no way invloved in making the game.
Also they are now selling pre-order packages and claim they will refund your money if you make a request before the 2nd alpha phase. The $40 and $60 get alpha access but the $20 only gets closed beta access so you have to spend $40 or more to get this "guarantee".

Well I'm keeping an eye on the game but am super skeptical. Everything that has a Sergey Titov name to it reeks, the guy is a proper scumbag. It's not the first time he'd try covering his full involvement with a game. So take their "we are only using their engine" with a grain of salt.

It certainly looks nice in the images they are posting of it

Yeah it is kind of strange they are asking for 💰 without showing anything of the game.

There is no way this game is in a good enough state in this short amount of time since I last looked at it to be worthy of release lol. Or maybe I am wrong? god knows.

This is suspicious as FUCK, I'm telling you. No way this game is ready so fast. From what information I gathered from early testers, this game is nowhere near complete. This is another WarZ scam by Titov.

Maybe the funds running low so they're profit grabbing with a release and then just drop the game with some excuse while they still have money lol

Oh I like the concept but I am in agreement with Vibe and Leesin. They are probably running out of money so they are trying to cash in on the release of season 2 of Westworld.

Might give it a try, after it becomes free2play due to not pulling enough players after launch and before they pull the plug right after that, cause no money is coming in. The circle of life of every failing or failed mmo.

I do like games where the players/npcs arent bulletsponges. This seems like the sort.
