You guys are close but actually none of those posts seems to contain a doggo or a pupper. I would settle for a corgo or even a puggerino.

Time runs so fast .... lost my old Lady today. Dunno why I`m sharing it , maybe cuz I called her Queen or because she is a real fighter and not like a fucking kuyak idiot. At the age of 6 years she had the diagnosis cancer, well she was 12 years and 2months when she died. She was a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Amber and the most powerful and endearing dog I know. Both of my other Ridgeback are mourning. At 8 pm she had a stroke and I called the  veterinarian. We brought her to the veterinary practice and the doctor told us that she has swollen lymph node and the best way to help her is to euthanize. FUCK.    With a heavy heart I did what was the best . It happend out of nowhere, I thought I would play a great XP Battle tonight. What I wanna say  enojy every moment with your best buddy and dont toture them because you wont be responsible for the death. It`s a hard decision , but if it`s a matter of time and you can ease pain it`s the best decision.
Worst part at 17pm she played with my youngest dog whos is 8 month, and a few hours later she died . WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Im angry and sad
Rest in Peace 18 .11 2005 + 03.02 .2018

My previous landlords had 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks , mother and daughter sophie and princess, sophie really liked me she would scratch on my door for attention. Its a shame and sad that they both passed due to age and medical issues. The daughter princess had some really big cyst and passed due to some disease I dont remember what it was. Sry for your loss.

Dang Grimoald I feel for you man. My dog before Oscar, who's in this thread, was only 4 years old when cancer took her. It's never easy man but you gotta look back on all the fun times you had with her and know that you made the right choice. I was faced with a similar one, instead of lymph nodes, it was a tumor in her stomach/intestines.

what are your doggo recommendations. should i get a doggo. what sort of doggo should i get. it should be small and cute anime doggo. what breed

my cute heckin dogger is a german (dwarf-) pomerian, absolute family dog, very active if you want, but can stay in your flat too if you are having long shifts.
Can absolutely recommend this lil pupper. They are getting quiet old too, not many problems health wise. very flexible.

pro: cute af, like really, on an average walk with my pupper like 5 people stop and talk to me about how cute my little Yankee is, 80% of those are grannys tho.
They are getting old, they love to play, have tons of energy and are funny as hell. Also they are very intelligent and they will always suprise you with new things. Just yesterday night I came home and my lil Yankee made herself a bed out of my hoodies and my jacket I had lying around. Looked at me like "whats up bishh"
(click to show/hide)

downsides: they bark constantly, they just dont stop god dammit. They have a huge ego and great self convidence. Its getting an actual issue now for our dogger because she stops listening to us and walks her own way ... she is staying at the door and SHE actually walks with ME, not the other way around hows its supposed to be. If she feels tired or its raining too much or shes sleepy she just turns over and walks straight back home without looking back a single time... my dog is abusing her human.
And afaik they are very expensive, probably even more in australia.

Yeah, Pomeranians tend to be very healthy overall. Same goes for my big ol pupper. He's a dirty Jack Russell / Border Collie mutt aka Border Jack. Super-intelligent (for a dog) and playful, but probably not very suitable for a first-time dog owner since he jumps around literally 90% of the time. Also, not a smol and cute anime doggo  :(

She had problems with standing up in the morning because of joint issues. But that shit literally fixed itself over a few days, we didnt see a vet once heh. nerf pomerians ty
Now shes healthily running around again without problems and we didnt even had to move a finger for that.

We lost one of ours today, off to that big park in the sky. He had a great life and a good 10 years which for his size and breed is pretty damn good. His sister died last year so its not a big surprise. Still hurts though. Got to say goodbye last night. Glad to know he passed on those amazing looks and genetics to hundreds of his kids and grandkids. A generation of Leonberger descendants in Ontario.

RIP Kodi. Best tempered dog I've ever known. Beautiful beast, gonna miss him. Until we meet again buddy.

sorry for your loss.

Now my question: I heard Leonbergers are really lazy and sluggish, they are also not really smart. Can you confirm?

Thanks guys.

Definitely not the kind of dog to go running around non stop. Efficient use of energy . But I wouldn't say lazy he would walk with you as long as you wanted. As for intelligence I wouldn't say they aren't smart. We've only had the one but he was a smart dog, though definitely a bit clumsy. Cleared a few tables with that tail of his lol.

They were bred as sled/service/family dogs so they are strong, loyal, and have great personalities. You could not find a better breed of dog assuming the size/hair aren't a problem for you. They are some massive dogs and you'll find their hair everywhere. During the summer you'll see little balls of it blowing around your property like tumbleweeds.
