Title: Getting team killed why cant we just ban people who do this?

I'm really disappointed with the way that team killing is handled. I play as a horse archer because everyone on CRPG has spent thousands of hours practicing so i can't get a single melee kill. As a horse archer i do good support and damage the enemies. But my own teammates often out of some broken sense of honor decide that a horse archer is not to their liking and just outright kill me.
People that do this type of shit need to be banned. If a bunch of people create a build with purely just a 2h weapon and no shield they are going to get wrecked by a good ranged character. The fact that everyone kills me just goes to show the level of immaturity on the server. If i am the last one alive in the round i don't usually delay either they just think melee is honorable and ranged is not, but its a part of the game like everything else.
Its like rock, paper, scissors, and horse archers have their weaknesses too.
If someone kills me and i report them, sometimes they hit me so fast i cant report each time they hit me and when they get reported 4 times they stop hitting me. If i try to fight back then the whole team just bloody attacks me.
Why can't we ban team killers and not just temporarily kick them with the horrible kick system.
I want there to be some justice for me having to wait so many rounds, two players that did this to me, among the many are irspartan and Zero_

Well, your class consists solely of shitting on people's enjoyment so getting shat on now and then seems fair.

But yeah, the reporting of teamkilling thing is not designed for punishing teamkillers, all it takes is a little screenshot and a ban request.

You didn't read the fine print on the description of the HA skill. By using ranged on horse you willingly give up your right to empathy, for good reason.

You should not condone hatecrime....

People play various classes to make their team win and have fun at the same time.

newbieHA are more of a nuisance than a real threat to anyone.
new guy wants to have some fun without getting hacked to peices first encounter.
It is fun to ride horses , only peasants show up on a battlefield without a mount! :D

EU servers are filled with kiddos that think they can take out peasants by using fists, you can kill them even with a level 1 character

No matter whether you are good or bad, a Horse Archer does not deserve to live long.

Horse Archers are the most annoying class, closely followed by Horse Crossbowmen.

Learn to play melee, it is way more fun :) After all playing a mounted Archer does not make you learn melee either. I too started cRPG fairly late (About a year ago). Loads of Pros running around while I did literally just know how to move using WASD.

Many people had to go through tedious times of being mercilessly slain by some tryhards, play lots of DTV, the bots are easier to block than most players (Provided there are not 50 bots ganking you at the same time)
Or hop on EU3/NA3 and find someone who practices with you, there are always helpful people around. (Go to Battle or Siege, ask if someone can help practice on Duel and I am sure someone will.

All ranged ofcourse is no honor in medieval times. Knights are high rank, specially trained in combat for many years, they have lots of money to afford the best gear and armor so that peasants like you can't do anything to them. But then they invented crossbows which could one shot kill knights. But ofcourse that is just history and this crpg, which has no realism

Nothing more annoying than bring chased across the whole map by some HA who keeps shooting your horse, not even trying to go for the rider...

Really, so what's HA's weakness then? What class is a counter HA? Let me save you some time: only other horse ranged. This is more about the obvious tactical superiority of horse archers. What do you think the mongols conquered a huge chunk of eurasia with, malnourished peasants with xbows? It's just an advantage in every way. It'd be like making a game about aztec warfare and having a conquistador class, and the whining cunts playing that class crying that hey, they're not completely invulnerable.

Kinda conflicted with this thread..the first post by a newbie gets downvoted to hell + insults all round. Well played

On the other hand we see here the general level of dissatisfaction with some aspecs of the gameplay present in cRPG. People simply do not like ranged with few downsides or counters. Unlimited kiting while shooting people is bad for balance..its frustrating, especially if it is someone with no game experience who is leapfrogging over all of the experience other people gained in order to play the game well. Its the same deal with other ranged in the game, especially when devs buff any inherent weaknesses in the class such as their melee performance. We end up with master of all trade builds with few downsides, and then bad game balance and frustrating gameplay

Its not to do with cav either. They are already very strong..they shouldn't have to be OP to balance the game. In terms of solutions for HA...I think your riding skill should be capped somehow when you put points into HA skill..limit the type of horses you can use, make them less accurate etc

I have no idea what servers you play on, but on EU1, EU2, EU3, EU6, NA1 and NA2, NA3, NA6 and CHN1 I have never seen a single person who has a 100% block. (Yes, I do play on all these)

Of course some people are better at blocking than others. But do you know what helps? Practice. And do you know what does not help getting better at it? Playing Horse Archer.

You will never get OKish at blocking if you just shut your eyes and run away from the problem (of not being able to block)

Like I said, in the beginning it is quite frustrating to die against all these pros you have no chance against. I have played for one year, I would say that I am quite alright at blocking. Not awesome, not shit. There are many people I have no chance against. But when I meet them on Battle/Siege I do not run away from them because they are better than me.
The only thing that is good practice is doing what you are bad at, so eventually you get better.

Like I said, first playing DTV is really good practice to get the basic automatisms going. Obviously DTV is not as difficult as Battle or Siege blocking wise, but really great for beginners.

And I also said that there definitely are many people willing to jump on Duel to practice with him. I myself would be glad to do so. We all have been shit at some point, hell, some still are after playing for so long *cough* Kinngrimm *cough*

And the hate towards Urban_Viking will certainly not get less if he continues playing Horse Archer.

I remember a poll, where it was asked what should we do to balance crpg (buff 2h,nerf 2h, buff cav, etc) . The large majority (it was about 50+, when the other options were at 10) was "nerf ha/hx" and "nerf stab".

The problem with ha is that, there is no counter to them, they can dodge arrows more easily than archer on ground. ha should receive a penality in horse maneuver, the same way that they receive a penality in accuracy. So they would be more easy to target for ranged on the ground and more likely to do mistake and end up in an infantry.

Plus this is kind of accurate as it is hard to maneuver your horse when you're focusing on aiming with a bow or xbow.

What is your complaint about blocking? Cheaters? Or is blocking too easy?

I do think people are too good at blocking, but the game has to be somewhat accessible to new players. Plus its part of the fun of the game. Maybe they could speed up combat some more or increase weapon stun

If you wanna wave your balls about you should have participated in the Duel Tournament. But please shut the fuck up with your arrogance and ignorance towards other players just because they might not have "mastered" some fucking mechanics in a video game like you did.


I offered him my help so he can get a bit better at blocking rather than constantly being slain on Battle and Siege.

Maybe you should try that for once, rather than showing off how awesome you are and how bad everybody else is.

Using chambers is much harder when you play on inverted because you cannot see the incoming weapon very well when you start your own swing. Quite a lot of people use it, and this is why they chamber much less. It does not mean that they are less skilled though, they just have a different focus.

tl;dr: I think it is wrong to assume that people who rarely or never chamber are bad players.

All I know about the autoblockers is that the dude named BOZDAG was banned. And it was kind of expected because that no-name popped out of nowhere with his weird style (leading experts would have qualified it of "retarded") straight to the top. All in all he looked exactly like an autoblocker and he was.

Yeah, it's totally Sean Bean, it's not that the Starks were written specifically as a the typical "good guys" present in every fantasy series, the honorable, noble, kind, family oriented heroes. That's why no one who ever read the books thought the exact same thing about the Starks despite the lack of Sean Bean. It wasn't a very calculated reversal of the usual way these things go in fantasy novels, which is "good guys win, bad guys die". Starks are objectively the closest to modern mores and ideas of what is "good", that's why people identify with them as "good".

Actually I spent roughly 30% of my game time playing on unknown alts, which didn't stay unknown for long and I've really tried to keep my mouth shut. Of course, as my impact at the score deteriorated, it became easier to stay incognito but some busybodies just wouldn't let me go (including some khm khm admins). I was never like Panos, shouting "HEY FOLKS ITS ME PANOS, THE MIGHTY ZEUS, GREEK GOD, KEEP YOUR ATTENTION ON ME PLEASE, I NEED IT BADLY!".

You on the other hand, could easily go unnoticed while playing on alts, and I envy you. It must be awesome to stay under the radar, and that only your clannies know that you're actually Oberyn :)

You're talking about an issue you're having on the Australian server, there's not much point posting about it on the cRPG forums as it's primarily an EU/NA community.

Please talk to me or one of the other admins if players are team killing you. Press 'I" in-game to alert an admin, there should be one online 90% of the time. A few players have been temp banned for TKing recently, I can assure you it is being handled.

when I started playing crpg I had bad ping and shitty fps( and no fuck was given those days).
I took me some time to realize that 60fps and 50 ping is something you need to become competitive, I remember that I had no idea how people can block some hits and unlike ras I thought that experience let some players to predict some attacks.

I remember huge improvement when I upgraded my pc.
As may be troll but chances are small for that only shit ass fps can save him in my eyes from form of ignorant and partially stupid person that think is smart.

I don't want to offend anyone here after all but facts that he ended up in quincy(clan that is probably weakest clan in melee) and he's lonely fight against mod full of cheaters and corrupted devs that want to cover all that stuffs is incredible funny to watch.

Read the whole thread next time, then. Herezy's post was a vague summary of the whole thing, and I never said he had to "accept it" either. I said take it or stop acting all tough and leave the thread once and for all but Raz won't retract anything he said, even tho there's no reason for him to be here anymore. And no, it's not like offering a fight to death irl. If after insulting you I offered you to fight for 10 bucks and you raised the bet to 1000 bucks, me leaving would mean I don't have the guts to do start what I finished, which means I probably can't beat you, otherwise I'd take it. So, if anything, Raz was the stupid one for prancing about being "good at videogames" in the first place.

No, you are supposed to admit that you are not so confident about yourself and you were wrong, instead of going back and forth, spreading lies and excuses everywhere, acting like you are talking on behalf of the "legit" players on the mod and like you are so good at the game you can beat anyone here in a 1v1; this is what Raz has been doing so far (no one agrees with him anyway). People were callling me out to fight for real money!!!

But  this is the minority of the community. This Internet thug minority of this community that holds the mod back.....Making noobs leave..The same people that talk bad on the forum they talk bad using profanity in game chat also....

I was hoping to create a tradition with the circle were people can settle the differences in a good fun loving way.Creating an event for all the community...

If I was setting out to create a lovable community the first thing I'd think about is not alienating the entire playerbase by accusing everyone of cheating.
