They're all brilliant and it seems the community is backing that as fact so where would the harm be in showing off everyone's work?

Edit:

The only problem I foresee with that though is that the first and second one mention how many people can fight at once, the first says 140, the second says 200. I also find that they all end abruptly, there is no sort of "fade out" as it were. My only criticism/observation from an amateur.

All three of them are very nice, kudos.

I ended up voting for nr. 3 simply because I like some of the effects used. The first one uses German warband as example and somehow that just felt wrong.

The numbers are simply the version history of each of the videos.
Video #1 by Doppel is the 3rd version.
Video #3 by 722_ is its first version.

About the different ones, cannot really decide, will take another look later but all three of them look great.
The first one might be a bit too fast for my taste, but I like all three

Some things that I spotted from each one of the videos:
First one didn't have enough in-game footage, and what it had was speeded up + the death reports were annoyingly visible.
Second one had a custom sound mod :wink: only bad thing I could figure out about it. My favorite :D
Third one had some pieces of it on a really bad quality.

Anyway, extremely good work for all of the videos.

Third one has some nice editing stuff but suffers from lack of pace and, as Lennu said, looks really poor occasionally. First one has great music and pace but too little actual gameplay.

My vote goes clearly to the 2nd one by korppis for a pretty simple reason:

It shows the diversity the best: Lots of cav, some ranged, siege towers, ladders... everything that is in crpg is in that trailer. It hasn't got the technical finesse like the 722-trailer but the footage is clearly the best overall.

...but all the effort should be rewarded. Therefore I'd like to see the 33%-solution implemented if possible. Every trailer deserves to be shown equally.

I'm honestly more impressed by his editing skills than duelling. Also he probably could kill tincans with cudgels and sticks but I digress.

1st one had the best pacing and music.
2nd one had the best combat sequences, liked the sounds of combat in there too it brought it more to life.
3rd one had the best video editing, the visual quality of the video was good too.

I picked 3 due to superior editing and second best pacing and combat scenes. Although the video didnt make it as clear that CRPG is a mod and how to sign/up and whatever but at the same time those very scenes that were included in the other 2 videos made them a bit more boring.

Did anyone else look for themselves in the footage? I found me on Video #2 by korppis at 0:53 getting hit by the Merc on the Arabian horse.

Post by: Jarold on April 10, 2013, 02:16:46 am: #3 Superior editing, and I liked the combat footage. #1 was ok it just focused too much on the website and the combat was sped up. #2 Had the best combat footage but it couldn't compare to #3's editing.

Well, I think 1st one would have been my choice if not those flaws.
Third one.... personally I don't like font placement. It's done good but it doesn't really reflect cRPG personality :)
Second one is good at showcasing different characters and duels but inferior in other stuff....

Hard choice, really :)

My vote would be "1st video edit idea, 2nd video footage, 3rd video editing and ending" :D

With Internet Explorer, yes.
