Nudge = V
Shield Bash = Block + V
So far I've only tested them in DtV and not against real players, anyone have any thoughts from practical experience?

They're really fun, along with powerjumping and sprinting and kicking while running they should all be added to regular battle and siege and dueling.

Extra cool shield bash = Hold swing + V
Wish it wasn't so buggy though, it's really helpful in DTV p.e.

It would be fun to see how shield bash would affect playing as 1h shielder. As a shielder with a short range weapon it can sometimes be very frustrating to fight 2h heroes. Its hard to control the range, and when you do hug them they can still swing in any direction and do a shitload of damage (o_O wheres the logic in that btw ?). So some other offensive option would be appreciated. Dont think its gonna have much impact on the other melee classes, since i imagine a nudge would work similarly to kicks.
In conclusion - im all for it, but then again i mostly play as a shielder, so my opinion is not unbiased.

People tried to shield bash me on dtv. Didnt work. Maybe it has something to do with light armor ?
E: Couldnt nudge myself either. Wasnt using WSE and had bow and 1h equipped

It's hilarious. Nice addition, even if it's only for a couple of game-modes.
Removing the message in between nudges "too early to nudge again" would be nice, since it spams the screen.

poor animotion for non shield(looks like hit with stone in hand) imo and I dont really understand how it can work better than kick for non shield players
but still +1 for that anyway

Shielders can now be used as launching-pads, to throw you into enemies

best patch ever. We bullied some people on eu7 with shield bash,and using them to play football and annoy other people.

Basicly you have to be on a DtV or Rageball server and then you press "V" + attack / block(?), with or without shield. For some reason though I cant get it to work, nor am I affected by shieldbashs or nudges from other players. It might have something to do with your build or equipment loadout.

I tested the nudge a little bit, you have to be extremely close and very quick. That's why at least for me, V is a terrible key. Q would have been much better. Or, let us configure it.

You can do some nasty feints, Thomas and I were testing it out and going from a swing to suddenly being bashed is literally instantaneous.

Just tested it. If I am not mistaken you literally have to touch the targets playermodel to make a nudge/bash connnect. On DtV it was so increadibly funny, I just could not resist do launch some people off a cliff :lol: :lol: :lol:
Although being a nice gimmick, I hope this never gets included in battle or siege in its current form. Unblockable-insta-megastun is not nice.

Haven't been able to make use of the nudges, too short of range it seems. Shield bash is amazing.

Shield bash is amazing fun but would be pretty OP on Battle/Siege/Strategus. Nothing like punting an AFK around DTV with other shielders though, spent hours doing it this morning.

Too low of range to be OP. Thank god for this defense against people who try to give me a hug congratulating me for my 90+ ping then do 2h ground attack to kill me.

Well I just imagine it being sort of like Polestagger was. On it's own it wasn't so bad, but with teamwork it could be brutal (which I was fine with anyways, and poles still haven't been compensated in any way). I'd love to have it on other game modes, tossing dudes off of walls in siege, Strategus shield walls meeting and bodies flying backwards, haha.

I think 1h without shield can also knockdown a backpaddler with the body hook nudge(no attack/block+v). The victim has to be in an attacking anim though iirc.
The left straight (attack+v) should kd someone doing a kick animation.

It's a nice and funny feature for DTV (haven't tried Rageball). It has a longer cooldown than kicking and QQV triggers it, which results in yelling while punching the air. :D

Paul imo the nudges could use a bit of a speedup though, they're extremely slow and silly looking atm.
Also, please, if it is possible could nudges be mapped to R and view changing be mapped to v? Ofc Q is another option, personally would prefer R though, and V is just annoying.

I can talk to cmp about adding additional gamekeys or something so the stuff can be on customizable keys next patch.

Maybe in the future we could see a shield bash reach stat because as of right now it is fun and useful in dtv when you are backpedaling a bunch of bots but I tried using it in rage ball and the reach ruins it. The Hold attack+V is completely useless and the shield bash usually falls a little short but not as bad.

Tulbuk - best map for nudge.
