Considering the cost of a movie ticket is somewhere between 12-14 dollars,  and the drive to a movie theater, this is more of a stick it up the ass of North Korea then simply silencing a movie theater, as now he has put it into the hands of every American with a pc.  This has just made it that much simpler to gain access to the movie.  Well done Kim, really backfired on ya didnt it?

Yeah not to mention the cost of snacks which if you buy at the theater costs more than the ticket itself.

It was a better movie than I expected it to be. Then again, I'm a sucker for Rogen-Franco.

It could have just been a publicitystunt. It probably was a publicitystunt. My quess is that they added a few extra things specifically designed to piss off that Kim manchild, things that well, us average people wouldnt consider as very offensive, yet hit his insecurities right on the spot and made him throw a tantrum.

Is this not simply Sony testing if they can make money by direct to drive films rather than going through the outdated modea. The death of cinema I read on some bullshit website.

I watched this movie, good god the introduction part of it was god awful.

About 20 minutes in I rated it a 4/10, too fast (maybe I'm just not used to modern moviemaking) and not even remotely funny.

After that things got more interesting, and it delivered, even made me laugh at a few unexpected moments.
Too bad the movie was way too predictable by saying out loud what is going to happen in the beginning with 'implication dialog'.

Use clichés, fine. But don't say them openly like that, so at least I can guess which one you will be using!

But yeah sometimes that stupid humour is great to have.

So after watching it, I'd say it is a good 6/10, but the beginning was shitty.

It's all in the timing.

Either I'm sitting there with a half-cocked smile for a minute knowing what's about to happen or it strikes abruptly from nowhere.

That being said I enjoy comedies either subtle, clever and deadpan; or downright stupid.
And how!

I agree with havelle its hilarious anyone could be offended by something so clearly poking fun at itself. Its a stupid comedy at times painfully stupid. I give it 8.5 raging kim jong uns out of 10.

lol @ retards who pay for cinema/movies

... lol at cheapass suckers who cant afford cinema/movies.
Also the cinema atmosphere is simpy different than streaming stuff, I hardly ever watch a movie in a cinema but when I do its because I wanna see it on a bigass screen and a great soundsystem which is just part of a good film.

Hate it when people dont pay for their stuff, do you also steal food and clothes from stores like a lowlife bum?

Yeah, I liked it. Like you said, probably just because I'm a fan of those Judd Apatow dudes. Felt like it could've been alot more.

Apparently there was, but it was cut for fear of being too offensive. My wife made us pay for it and ranted about pirates so I'm glad it wasn't bad.

Eh most comedies these days are shit.

It's all in television. Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Broad City, Bob's Burgers, Comedy Bang Bang, Key & Peele...I'm not really sure comedy has ever had as much of a success in the movie medium. The best jokes are serial.
