I think the majority of the playerbase enjoys or doesn't care about joke banners. Personally I would love if banners had to be "realistic" or fit within a theme. Joke banners don't bother me, but ones that took 5 seconds to make (and show it) make me roll my eyes. It can be funny and not look like steaming pile of cabbage!

I don't agree with some of them and don't really care if somebody uses a banner that doesn't look like a medieval banner, but I indeed think there should be somebody reviewing the banners. If you put some time and work in it your banner can be as trolly as you want imo, but if you just take a pic of something that doesn't even look good and use it as banner... no thanks, I'd rather have that bannerslot for something that is nice to look at.

IMO it's fine to have whatever banner, just not those anime banners or cartoon banners in general like the homer one.
