despite the cringey, juvenile premise/story/characters, the gameplay is ok. not even that great but decent stealth shooter. so I stick with it and start to enjoy it somewhat.

Then I get to mission 11 or something when I am rescuing guy with robot legs whose diagolue that reminds me of budget voice acted and translated ps1 cutsenes. I spend ages capturing tons of enemies, get discovered blow up 2 mechs and make it out with the hostage.

then after more cheesy D movie cutscenes I have to get away from giant mech controlled by cliche mc cliche skull villain. and cant get in helicopter until I lose the mech. So get on my horse and ride away sticking to cover. then next thing I know the game says "fine have it your way mission aborted", I was going so fast that the "warning" was like not even fully pronounced before it told me I was aborting.

ppffft uninstall trash game, came here to rage post necro :D

I cannot understand how this is rated 9/10 - 10/10. even if didn't rate it way down for being extremely uninspired and cheesy af, the gameplay has alot of flaws and would still only be an average game.

Teleportation is legit part of the show, if you rewatch e9 you can see giant in middle of army, then 2 seconds real time later he has teleported next to jon snow.

Also sansa rode off before ramsay says he has starved his dogs 7 days. then later says "you said it yourself...

there was some great CGI and scenes in ep 9. but really it was one of the silliest most impracticable battles Ive seen. I think people give the director way too much credit, such as waste of resources. it could have been a normal battle and one of the best ever in tv/film but instead it had to be full of stupid gimmicks and plotarmour.

E3 cannot be summed up any better.

When they say 4k gameplay no compromises that is a complete straight faced lie, and they should be legally liable for saying such bullshit.

yeah im disapointed by that too, it does just look like copy-paste gameplay with different weapon/vechicle skins.

I mean I thought the whole reason they were showing trench mele weapons and horses is because there would be less automatic weaponry and such. but someone with running around with mount only machine gun , aiming down the sights with no recoil at all.

recognise the animations from aoc

not saying the game couldn't turn out great. but its definitely another cash in on the unfinished survival game genre.

Total War Series / Re: Total War Hammer

Started a legendary Empire campaign, on turn 10 I was already being sieged by 3 full armies from a neighboring province, guess it's time to restart.

yeah empire took me the most retries on legendary

there is alot of randomness to your start, it can be relatively easy or impossible very luck dependant.

but I do have some tips (spoilers):

it tedious but I asked every faction to join my wars vs orcs etc. every turn sometimes paying small amounts. this makes people like you more, the AI always wants to be at war with 1 faction but never really more. definitely want the nearby dwarves to be friends. and generally helps unify the empire factions so they go to war with each other less. so they dont wipe so much vs choas. did make killing choas easier than with the other races though, I expected it to be harder so was a bit disapointing.

Yeah lightning strike is your friend. It isn't actually the hardest campaign on legendary imo, but it is 100% the most tedious since its basically just grinding battles only. definitely tended to autoresolve alot and then I didn't see the point.
