Perhaps try using the Warband launcher to enable 'load textures on demand' - Not sure that's the trick but I think so.

will be there before end of kickstarter campain pre-alpha test?

Everyone's working on a playable version that can give a good first impression, ETA is "soon"

The whole video is very ambiguous, but that's intended

Map (world) isn't finished though, this was as it says in the description just a quick and dirty flyover.

I'm actually exceptionally good at falling out of boats. The struggle is real.

Yeah, awesome really! So many games and we've been going up and down the list!

Now vote vote vote (for both!) and tell alllllllll your friend :P

We're going to need a serious boatload of votes to get noticed.

btw, if you add #vote36582 after the link, so it's: http://www.indiedb.com/events/2014-indie-of-the-year-awards/top100#vote36582 it'll send people directly to the appropriate voting category.

for cRPG the addition is #vote25377 >> http://www.moddb.com/events/2014-mod-of-the-year-awards/top100#vote25377

Nice share, much ty really.

There's been a big increase in YouTube subs (was wondering why I suddenly had a full page of youtube emails :P), so it does have a very good effect :) we're in it for the long haul here!
Check a lot of the new cool indie games on steam, they all tried Kickstarter/Indiegogo too, because why not, and they suffered through the same, some had it more rough than us and still they're doing amazing on Steam afterwards. We should hopefully be quite alright despite being far from our goal.

Also don't let the negative or troll comments bother you, it happens to every game -- imagine working on COD or Battlefield --  and as chadz wrote, any PR is good when the alternative is no PR.

However judging from those comments it would seem clarity is a must, some sort of way to condense 'MELEE' into an explanatory image or gif.

why does everyone think the game was cancelled lol?

as far as I understand it seems they think it's CLANG for some reason... Don't ask why :D

No need to panic -- nor think of devious ways to complete the campaign, and we ofc don't support such thoughts.

If it doesn't complete it doesn't complete. We'll try other ways, Kickstarter is just one option that we thought would have more visibility than it has (~30k views is just :o you need like a million people to see it), and the willingness to report on Kickstarters is seemingly at an all time low unless you're already famous. Either way, so far it has gotten us a lot of new friends in the industry and some decent publicity, it's been beneficial, and now there's many new paths open.

We hope to put out a playable version soon, which we'll share to a lot of youtubers/streamers and hopefully that should give us a boost in views, the last week could get crazy, let's hope so.

We're ranging from like top 30 to ~200, ups and downs. Everyone remember to give at least TWO visits a day! One when you wake up, another when you go to sleep. Just like the doctor ordered
