The gameplay meant for MBG (KS) is also to be incorporated into this. There will be objective based battles to join etc (ranked arena), similar to just jumping into a Battle/Siege server where you can quickly get in and have some fun, play a few rounds and quit.

Also in regards to the overall gameplay don't think of it as an MMO, we're specifically trying to hit that middle-road where the focus is on fun gameplay and less any sort of tedious tasks.

It's not a forum for veterans etc, it's for backers from the funding event on this forum (in 2013). What initially sparked the development foundation for the game. We discuss our strategies and thoughts with our initial backers, for example gameplay direction, it was also a promise we made to everyone who backed us in 2013.

We hope that everyone who followed us on KS is following us now via the forum, Twitter, Facebook etc, so they're all the first to know when we release something for the public to play.

Are there plans to make heraldic versions of all of these items? Maybe with more pattern options than in c-rpg, so players can choose which elements of their arms are displayed and to some extent how.

eg. I'm blazoning a red donkey on a black and white background, my surcoat could be just black or just white or both of them as on the shield or as above but tiled, then I could have a big donkey or lots of little donkeys or no donkeys. Looking at knights arrayed in heraldic armour, they had quite a bit of artistic freedom, so it would be nice to see that in the game.

We have something around those parts in mind. It'll all be very simple and basic to begin with (if even implemented at Alpha, might just be some super basic thing), but otherwise that's about what we're thinking of, plus possibly having dyes for armor pieces, the latter is still on the drawing table.

For the end result, customization is going to be a big big feature for the game :)

Never asked that question. are you going to have any norse/viking stuff?

I know they were on a decline in 13th century but they were still there. Also they share quite a bit of similarities with northern Rus states.

There's a few things on the drawing board, weapons & armor pieces that still persisted throughout the 13th.
