Suggestions Corner / Remove Melee

I mainly play ranged with either xbow or bow. I feel my game is getting ruined by melee players that have no other goal than to rush to my position as fast as possible and kill me.
What I would want is to be able to shoot at least half of my arrows/bolts before superfast heroic 2handers have run across the map ignoring everything else to spam me to death. Everybody is hating on ranged but there are 3 different approaches to ranged (xbow/bow/throwing) just as there are for melee, why hate on half the game? The only result this ranged hate will bring is more mounted ranged.

Can we rename DTV to DTB (Defend the Border) and rename the virgin to Angela?
EU7 players could then roleplay to be EU border patrol and defend our beautiful union vs rapists.

Whats the point of this game if the ping goes up by 10 every month. I'm between 60 and 70 ping, used to have around 30. Nofunmode enabled.

So I'm currently leveling a thrower, want to use throwing lances. Any experienced thrower who might suggest a build? Should also be able to have some melee capabilities.

Bought it today, played the 4 tutorials and some skirmishes vs bots. I've played the boardgame quite a while ago and the computer game feels pretty similar. Cant wait to have an actual campaign with lvlups, skills, gear etc...

4. Written description of what happened, the whole story. Also what happened before and after.
I joined the server and when a new round (Ninjas) and I started shooting on an elevated position, shortly after that I got attacked and first thought it would be a bot because he was dressed as a ninja but then saw it was an "ally". He killed me and pursued me and killed me for 2 more rounds
5. Why you think the offender did what he did. - No idea

HA/HX are not able to report teamhits anymore. Teamkills where the ha/hx is the victim bring + points now instead of - points.
Tking mounted ranged should be officially allowed - please change server rules now.
Please also add a wave on DTV with all HA that dont attack the players but kill each other right at the start.

Also what happened before and after: I spawned at about 6:30, saw Tragarz1 around our spawnpoint shooting someone, he then charged me and I managed to shoot him off his horse. Moved around map and then he was in front of me again, starting to shoot at me, I ran after him trying to kill his horse and King_Mircea then helped me and killed him.
