Outdoors things gonna happen to people when they go outdoors.
We replaced Christianity with Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Pokemon and Marvel heroes.
Well, I go for a long walks every day and don't get robbed, mugged or anything of that sort. This is going to make my life harder because I don't play it and thus, do not know locations of gyms or stuff like that. All I know, when I see bunch of people in one spot, turn around and choose another path. It is not yet supported in here, but people already found a way to circumvent that little issue...
It is really sad that people need an excuse to get outside on a sunny day. Not to mention real life pokemons, little children, who require a lot of effort to catch and keep. Besides, they are much more interesting and less predictable than silly mobile game. I do understand kids who play this, but adults...
Edit: Second paragraph makes me sound like some kind of pedo :lol: when I mentioned kids, I meant our own children. Not children of other people lol

Going outside the nose in your phone the whole time looks pretty nerdy though! I can perfectly understand why people mock them, but at the same time its cool to see the "internet" people interacting in real-life. People can see how our online community interacts on the web.

I take a train for 3 hours every day and if I travel alone I have my nose in my phone the entire way.

I'm too old for that shit, also get nauseous for some reason if I look at screen while commuting. Usually I'm fine with everything, that is the only thing that makes me wanna barf. For me it like this, place buds in my ears and put on some good music. Usually take a nap or two, with music on.
Not to mention dangers of being surrounded by people while reading crap that gets posted in here. Could legitimately go snackbar and slit someones throat out of sheer desperation and disappointment in humanity. It is better to listen to 'sympathy is what we need my friend cause there's not enough love to go round', builds up tolerance bar :D

the ones that gets on my nerves mostly are those who are nose-deep in their whatever + walk accross the road; if manslaughter wasnt a crime I would have happily rolled over some, they really arent fit to live.
I cycle to work and the same thing pisses me off. People on phones crossing the road not paying attention and they assume there's nothing coming because they can't hear an engine but don't bother looking.
If only there were more silent electric cars around.

Everyone shuts themselves out of the rest of the world when going outside, so theres a lot to pay attention to in order to not hit one.

Pokemon go seems like a completely trash non-game to me, but the real life antics like kids finding dead bodies makes me a fan of it for the sheer comedy factor.
They should make the ones who baited and robbed those people wear pokemon outfits in jail.
These kind of games are the future. You know why? Money.
Incredibly potent marketing tool. You can tweak the game, that way bringing the people to the very location of the store that is paying for ads. Radio, TV, Internet or non AR games can't match that.
You can even persuade people to buy stuff, by giving them in-game incentives to do so. Dark ages are upon us...

Pay2win stuff is only frown upon in hardcore gaming community consisting of obese, know-it-all (thanks to Google and Wikipedia) neckbeards.
2/3 of the time when you catch a pokemon, the game freezes and you get nothing. Given that you need to catch like a gazillion to progress in the game due to the leveling system, this is a bit of a problem.
After this happens and you restart the game, more than half the time you then need to keep retrying ~5min to get past login errors.
1/3 of pokestops work as intended, 1/3 of the time you need to try them 5+ times before they work, 1/3 of the time they don't work at all.
Some pay2win games are commercial success but they are those who balance the negative impact of pay2win with solid gameplay.
I asked or overheard these people in their 40s that never really played anything before candy crush and they either are completely clueless or simply don't care.
Or they have different taste and doesnt care about you? :P
